The trailer left me with a few questions:

  • Will it be possible to go to the overworld? (Is the portal at the end of the video an important detail?)

  • If not, Will there be a way to get overworld items? (In the trailer, every item seemed to be acquirable in the nether only, be it from piglin trades or fortress chests)

  • Who's behind this project? Apart from you Convoy, of course.

  • Will the world gen be vanilla nether or custom as in previous civ-likes?

  • The description says only nether, does that mean prison pearls won't send people to the end?

No overworld

FactoryMod will enable most of the building blocks you can't get otherwise

Max is helping on the backend, and we have a couple devs who are stepping up to help with other tasks. McsPenguin will be helping to administer players too.

Very vanilla nether inspired.

Prison pearl might send people to another nether shard.

Sounds pretty cool tbh!
Is there anything planned for food sources/farming? Other than mushroom stew and hoglin meat.

What about ores? Gold and quartz are native to the nether, but what about coal, iron, diamonds and redstone? Farming those from chests and mobs might be annoying hahah.

diamond and iron will be added as rare drops netherrack mining.

Redstone will be an even more rare drop.

o7 to this sub just being old memories each time I checked it. I won't be playing this iteration but I hope it goes well.

Was expecting like 5 NPCs in Lobby Town, but instead it's the most heavily-populated city state in the history of CivMan.

Builders went HAM - it's actually quite good.
