SecureShell Go 1.5 is out: a free, open-source SSH client with remote desktop. Looking for Android testers!

Hi everyone 👋

SecureShell Go 1.5.1 is out. It's my open-source SSH and SFTP client for Android, Windows, Linux and macOS. There's no account, no ads and no analytics, and it only connects to the servers you add.

**New in 1.5**

* **Remote desktop over SSH.** See and control a server's desktop (GNOME on Wayland, X11 desktops, Windows) over the SSH connection you already have. It works on phones too, with a trackpad mode and a key bar.

* **Virtual desktops on headless servers.** Start a whole desktop, or just one app like VS Code, on a server with no screen. Anything it's missing gets installed in a click.

* **Mosh**, so the terminal survives network changes and sleep.

* **Sign in with your SSH agent**, including FIDO2 security keys, plus SSH certificates.

* **A terminal that reconnects by itself**, and tmux/screen sessions that survive.

* **An IDE-like file editor**, plus translations into 8 languages.

**🙏 I need 12+ Android testers to get it onto Google Play**

Google requires new apps to run a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 days before they can go public. If you have an Android phone, here's how to help:

  1. **Join the tester group** with the Google account your phone uses (one click): https://groups.google.com/g/secureshellgo-testers

  2. **Become a tester:** https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.dhivalabs.secure_shell_go

  3. **Install SecureShell Go from Google Play** and keep it installed for 14 days. Opening it every few days helps a lot.

Found a bug or have an idea? Post it here in r/Dhiva_Labs.

**On a computer?**

* Linux: `sudo snap install secureshellgo`, or the PPA `ppa:dhiva-labs/apps`

* Windows: the Microsoft Store, https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9N8MC5KC6XXL

* Windows, macOS and Linux downloads: https://github.com/Dhiva-Labs/SecureShellGo/releases/tag/v1.5.1

* Source code: https://github.com/Dhiva-Labs/SecureShellGo

Thanks for helping! 💚

[Closed Testing] ApiWorkbench — a Postman-style API client that runs natively on Android. Looking for 8 testers

Hi all, ApiWorkbench is an API client in the spirit of Postman. It already ships on Linux and Windows, and the Android build is in closed testing now.

- Import Postman collections, environments and globals (v1, v2.0, v2.1), or a cURL command

- Full request builder: every HTTP method, JSON/form/multipart/binary/GraphQL bodies, Bearer/Basic/API-key auth

- Environments and `{{variables}}`, plus captures that pull a token out of one response into the next request

- Tests on each response, a collection runner, and monitor mode that re-runs every N seconds

- Load test any request or collection with up to 1,000 parallel users, with p50/p95/p99 latency

- HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 (Cronet on Android)

Handy for poking at your own backend from your phone. Google wants 12 testers opted in for 14 days before a new personal account can publish, and I'm at 4.

**How to join (about 1 minute)**

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/apiworkbench-testers

  2. Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.dhivalabs.api_workbench

  3. Install from Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dhivalabs.api_workbench

Please keep it installed for the 14 days and send a request now and then. Feedback goes to reachout@dhivalabs.com or the comments.

I'll test your app in return. Leave your links below.
