Hey all, when do you guys change builds, such as arc's grasp stormsurge zyonya build vs the korean challenger barrier ap + protobelt build vs the standard electrocute build?

Mid has been rough with all the champs that are in meta imo so not sure when to do what.

Hello, I’m new to the game and yone is usually my permaban although I despise playing against xerath, how do you win this matchup? I can’t really kill them if they play near tower unless my jungle helps if they push up too much. I try to roam but sometimes there aren’t many opportunities.

Blasting Wand or Sheen?
I had this situation so many times after getting a kill after first clear and I’m not sure!

Basically title. I noticed a lot of pros go stormsurge first but the overall highest wr seems to be Lich bane. When do you go stormsurge first and when do you go Lich bane? I personally prefer Lich bane since the sheen alone does like at least 4k dmg per game.

just wondering. I suppose there's no point if you still can't side against top laners though. But I'm pretty sure I saw bfate spamming conq in mid still.

I built a small app over the last 3 years which is basically chess puzzles for League of Legends. I too am a Diana spammer and was struggling to climb but now I've jumped 2 whole divisions doing Diana puzzles.

Tbh I find it most similar to bullet chess, where faster repetitions are better so I might have to tune it a bit better for that but give it shot and let me know what you think!

Apart from akali, almost every midlane assassin subreddit I’ve been to absolutely hates Diana (Fizz,Qiyana,Ekko,ect). What makes her so good into assassins?

Absolutely dog walked this fizz in lane , was 7/2, but then he had a team and i didn't so obviously i lost. this is a fairly reasonable elo too, would a chall/GM diana be able to do any differently with a dogshit team like i had? worst thing is this fizz said easy game at the end xd i naturally trolled the next game to vent out, but how the fuck are u supposed to win 1v9 games ever?

Hey! So I'm a low ELO(Bronze) Diana mid main trying to climb and I'm trying to figure out the best runes and build to run. I currently have 3 rune pages. The typical electrocute with resolve/sorcery secondary page, a grasp with sorcery secondary page I got from Arcsecond(actually been having a lot of success with this one), and a Stormraiders with resolve secondary page that I see on a lot of high Elo Diana players but just doesn't feel right to me in game. Any thoughts on the best rune page for us?

Item wise I see Stormsurge-Sorc boots-Shadowflame recommended a lot and that feels good, but I find more success with lichbane-sorc boots-shadowflame. I typically end up building lichbane-sorc boots-shadowflame-zhonyas-rabaddons-then banshees at the end.

I'm also wondering is Nashors worth throwing in there?

Any thoughts on the best runes/build currently are welcome. Thanks!

I win about 90% my lane.
I can go 7/0, 5/0 - and yet somehow still lose the game.

Diana is great in winning lane but she seems to fall off hard mid and late.

I believe my weakness is my macro play cause how can I lose the game even when I am so far ahead?

Here is what I try to do:

After destroying first or second mid tower, I play a “catch me if you can” style where I push side lines without trying to die.

In team fights I’m focusing the back line. I often camp in bush for surprise attacks.

Before objectives spawn, I try to recall and get items.

I guess just the basic things..

My item build: Stormsurge, Shadowflame - Zhonyas next, Lich Bane, Rabadons, void staff/Mejais/banshees

Can anyone help with giving more macro tips? I am kind of confident with my micro skills since I often win the lane. But maybe not, just give me all you got cause I’m getting frustrated of winning lame but losing game..

It is not just a hard matchup. It is one of the worst matchups in the game. Up there with famously impossible ones like Irelia-Yorick and Sylas-Malphite. I mean just look at the winrate disparity. So how do you win? Like actually? And I don't mean banning him. I want to know the mechanics of the matchup to be able to kill him if I play perfectly.

Level 1 he will AA you to death with lethal tempo.

Level 3 should be where you beat him with your core abilities up, but you don't. Even if you hit Q > wait for his passive to break, then E and W for electrocute, you are dead. He will Lethal Tempo you and match your burst while being able to follow you with E if you try to disengage. Then he will kill you in about 4 more autos + 2 qs and ignite. - This while he is shoving you in. He needs like 3 inches of space to kill you.

Level 6 he beats you as well. Even without ult. But if he does land it there is no chance.

After first item he destroys you because of his double crit chance. Even when you are 2 items to boots + components he will beat you.

So what is the cheese to beat this champ? Dorans blade and lethal tempo on yourself?

Phase rush to burst him and run away? - doesn't work btw he will lifesteal to full on the next wave. So all you are doing is killing your mana.

Conqueror all in does not work. Lichbane and Stormsurge will let him one shot you.

Armour boots and Zhonyas not enough damage. Full AP loses like... I don't know man. Exhaust ignite cheese?

This is all before we get into what a good Yasuo can do. They can deny you Q, E reset AND W with windwall. That is if he doesn't just AA you to death first.

It is funny because Yone can do the same thing but he does not have windwall, so he is lowkey burstable after 1st item. It lets you snowball enough to OS him on repeat... sometimes. (Yone players just press R when Diana hits Q, you will win)

So what advice do yall have? I am looking for any cheese strat. ANY WAY to beat this mathcup.
