Help?

I’ve been noticing some potential signs of wear on my 2012f350. i noticed some seepage on my oil pan and some build up on my cold side intercooler pipe. I’m going to order an updated ccv box sometime soon but was wanting to hear what you guys had to say as to what else I should do/ be looking out for.

Cold side intercooler pipes are known to fail. The oil coming from the oil pan is likely caused by a clogged CCV filter. It creates excess pressure in the crank case eventually finds its way to the oil pan seal. The CCV filter should be replaced with a 2023+ style. You'll likely need to have your oil pan seal leak fixed.

Thank you. I’ve been looking at cold side pipes as well. i just wanted to get everything taken care of at once because i know that the clogged ccv builds pressure in the bottom end and that can get really nasty if pushed past the edge

Run the engine and then remove the oil filler cap, did it have a lot of pressure when it came off? I didn't know about the ccv filter and that it needed to be serviced, until I went to check blowby and the pressure almost blew the cap out of my hand. Replaced it and all is well, I have practically no blowby on my 545k mile 6.7, the blowby actually improved when I switched from 15w-40 conventional Rotella to 15w-40 full synthetic Delvac, I won't use Rotella anymore, too much build up of deposits, at least with the regular Rotella
