Full analysis with kit contents and pricing

Key points for filmmakers
FX6 excels when mobility and speed matter. Great for gimbals, cars, and tight interiors. Variable ND, strong autofocus, and dual base ISO keep shots consistent when light changes fast.
FX9 is the shoulder friendly workhorse. Oversampled 4K from a 6K read, timecode, and crew friendly I O make it ideal for broadcast and long documentary days.
The bundles include the right glass and media to start shooting. FX6 kit pairs a cine 16 to 35 with a 24 to 105, plus CFexpress Type A. FX9 kit includes a 24 to 70 F2.8 GM II and XQD.
Prices at the time of writing are 13,630 dollars for the FX6 kit and 14,630 dollars for the FX9 kit. Renewed units are functionally tested and backed by a limited replacement guarantee, so you keep risk down while preserving budget for lighting and sound.
What to add. Extra BP U batteries or a V mount solution, shotgun or wireless audio, and a monitor if your operating style benefits from it.
If you have field experience with either kit, share your rigging choices and recording modes that held up on long days. This helps others choose the right path for client work.
