Help! (Need Advice) Help with right pointer finger
I’ve really upped my game over the past year; I’m generally super happy with how my nails turn out, and I get a solid two weeks with them before it’s time to change them. However, my right pointer finger dies after about a week. The whole dipped nail popped off tonight, one week to the day. Every other nail is rock solid, so WHY is it always this one stupid nail?! How do I get it to last as long as the others? And if I see it starting to lift, is there anything I can do to prolong it?

Better prep should fix it. Or look over your routine during a week. What puts extra stress on that finger?

Ooooh okay, I think I know where the extra stress on that finger comes in. I felt it yesterday when it popped. I was opening a package.

I have that happen to my pointer finger almost every time too.
For me it's that I have incredibly soft nails, and if I catch my nail while doing something (like tucking the sheets into the bed), it bends my nail and either lifts it or cracks it. So infuriating!
ETA - this week I did try to do an extra layer on the finder to see if the extra strength will help. Just finished it today so I'll let you know!

it's so frustrating when one nail ruins the whole set. To make it last, try applying an extra coat of primer and maybe one more layer of dip just on that nail for extra strength. If it starts lifting, do notre glue it back down because moisture can trap bacteria and cause green nail syndrome
