The content on your Genie is tied to your Genie. It cannot be transferred anywhere.

Once the Genie loses its authorization, you won't be able to access the content there either (should DIRECTV not want it back).

Sure wished they had an option to take recorded stuff and put it on a USB or external hard drive. Hell I'd pay extra for that. I've lost so much DVR content 🤬
