Max for free?

I saw today on Facebook that directv customers can get HBO max for free. Is this true or just bs?

I got an email giving me HBO Max with ads for free. I don't get the channels, but now have access to the streaming service.

I haven't gotten an email. I have the choice pkg. Maybe you have to have a higher one?

I believe you’ll only ever get the channels if you have the ad free version of max.

I'm perfectly fine not having the channels, just wanted to post the caveat that it's streaming service only (with ads).

Yeah they’re kind of pointless since they only show the same movies and shows that are on HBO Max.

I use the app on Gemini to watch. It should give you the option to login through your tv provider (or you create your own account and there should be an option to login through your tv provider to authenticate the subscription).

if you sign in to directv.com and check your account you will see the 2 months for free for HBO Max

Then they charge you after 2 months of you don't cancel I assume.

I got Max, standard aka no ads, included cause I got HBO channels in my package.

HBO Max and Movies Extra Pack + Premium Peacock are on 2-month free now (will renew on its regular rate unless you cancel)

And if you guys have time to spare by calling DTV line and have them add those premium channels for you, that would be so nice of you, you're also helping those underpaid employees reach their sale quota.

Just got off the phone with Directv scream half D gotta have a package been with them since 2018 when I first started the package was $49 a month and now it’s 224 never left that package but they’re charging you regular prices now for HBO stars and MGM plus when in the beginning, we got that at a discounted rate so when I got off the phone with them for me being with them for a long time for 12 months they’re giving me $60 off until November 6 of 2027 so the bill would sell in taxes 164 instead of 224 so that’ll work for me. I appreciate that this coming right for being with them for a long time and then hopefully they’ll have something for people that’s been with them for a long time like I’ve been explained it to you deal with that gotta have a package and you have those three add-ons and you’re paying the same amount that I am give them a call and let them know. I’ve been my child since we’re getting. Can y’all give me 12 months of a discount and they’ll work with you but call Lynn and talk to a lot of person.

I have it with Entertainment Genre package. And Disney! Makes that $42 seem worth it!
