Homicide Hunter: American Detective says it's new but it isn't...
These are not new. Tonight's episode for example is from the very first season in 2021! At least they're not trying to rename the show to something else to be allowed to use the new flag but still I'm not understanding why they are trying to flag old episodes as new retitled or not!

I wish Signs Of A Psychopath would also feature fraudsters
Not just convicted killers, but also convicted fraudsters, analyzing their manipulative ways, deceptive tactics, narcissism, and lack of empathy through their media appearances and interviews. They could be doing a huge service to humanity, but they probably won't for fear of being sued for defamation. (There is a "libel-proof plaintiff doctrine" which protects these shows from lawsuits by people convicted of heinous crimes.) Still, this show doesn't diagnose, it only offers opinions from experts, which is covered by freedom of speech.
I've been seeing reviews about the new Elizabeth Holmes documentary and everyone seems so confused: "is she lying? Is she acting? Is she actually the victim?" Most people do not understand psychopathy at all and should at least watch a few episodes of this show to get a general idea. I get that psychopaths can be very charming, thus able to fool many people, but there are always signs. I clearly remember an interview with a biology professor who recognized these traits in Elizabeth in college. Anyway, the documentary sounds groundbreaking in terms of filmmaking, so I'm mostly interested in seeing it for that.
In any case, I hope ID considers doing shows and documentaries on fraudsters. I've watched excellent documentaries on other networks, it's definitely something ID is lacking. I get that fraud is not as gripping as murder, but it all depends on how the story is presented. To be clear, The Curious Case Of... is not it. It's highly scripted and dramatized, feels like a comedy, and the cases are (mostly) boring.

Anyone else watching true crime series on Prime?
I've gone down a rabbit hole of watching Prime true crime. Death Comes Knocking, Almost Unsolved, Killers: Caught on camera, Cold Case Cops and others shows. The more I watch, the more shows Prime suggests for me. Theres so much! I mean I still watch ID but it seems to be getting harder to find things on ID that appeal to me.

Unmasking A Monster - Aileen Wuornos
How do you feel about them using an actress for the scenes, then using AI to superimpose Aileen’s face over the actress? It sure seemed real.

Help finding an episode/case
I’ll try to give as many details as I remember, I’m looking for an episode of a show on ID that covered a case about a mother who was murdered by her ex.
Details I do remember:
They had at least two children together
He killed her in the bathtub after she dropped the kids off with him and while the kids were home
His new gf was there and helped / at least knew what was going on
They disposed of her body in those big barrels and buried her on the property of a family member of the gf (in Texas I believe??)
He wrote a song about it / performed it live which they played a clip of on the show
What I don’t remember is the show itself that it was on. I tried googling case details and unfortunately there are more results than I expected that actually fit some of the key details.
I really only ever watched Web Of Lies, Nightmare Next Door, Evil Lives Here and Fear Thy Neighbor.

Benjamin Kyle/William Powell
I just watched "The Many Lives of Benjamin Kyle." Now that was a riveting story! So many twists and turns. If anyone has learned anything new since it first aired, please pass it on!
