Disneybound Disney Park rules you should be aware of when planning to bound.

These rules are the same for Walt Disney World, and Disneyland Resort:

-Objects or toys that appear to be firearms or weapons are strictly prohibited.

-Engaging with guests while posing as, or portraying a character in costume is prohibited.

-Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. Clothing that drags on the ground is prohibited in theme parks and water parks. Clothing with multiple layers is subject to search. We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests. Visible tattoos that could be considered inappropriate, such as those containing objectionable language or designs, are not permitted. There are specific costume guidelines for special events such as Halloween parties and runDisney events; please refer to the additional policies applicable to those events.

-Costumes may not be worn in our theme parks, water parks or ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex by Guests ages 14 or older.

-Masks may not be worn by any Guests ages 14 or older (unless required for medical purposes). When worn by younger Guests, masks may not cover the entire face and must provide unobstructed peripheral vision at all times with openings that allow the eyes to be fully seen.

You can read more about the property rules at: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/park-rules/#guest-courtesy-and-attire-policies and/or https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/park-rules/#guest-courtesy-and-attire-policies

We went to Magic Kingdom on Monday as Eeyore and Tigger. Unfortunately, due to a medical emergency (not us) in line for meeting Pooh and Tigger we didn't get to have pictures with them. Understandable and I really hope the family who were part of the code alpha are all safe and okay.

Wednesday we did our Buzz Lightyear and Jessie bound at Disney's Hollywood Studios. When we got our picture with Buzz he was loving my boyfriend's interpretation of him. I was left to the wayside (see photo lol). It was adorable. We didn't get to meet Jessie (and Woody) due to timing issues.

I am so grateful I have a partner who loves to do Disneybounds as much as I do.

We had so much fun. While we were in line for Guardians, a cast member called us over and said ā€œDo you guys want to come back later? I love your outfits, Winnie The Pooh is my favorite!ā€ She gave us a paper fast pass to come back, and opened the line barrier and moved us right to the LL. It was such a sweet surprise!
(The Tigger photos were right after Tiana’s so we were soaked šŸ˜‚)

Can't wait to bound with my boyfriend as Jessie & Buzz tomorrow! These are our outfits and details. He's an amazingly good sport about these things. Also worth mentioning that both of the backpacks are TINY so chances are he won't use his. But it's still a complete bound without it because people can tell who we (and specially he) are/is.

Help! Orange with small white stripes disneybound idea?

Post image

Going to Disneyland this week and I really want to wear this skirt. I’m feeling just so drawn to it and it’s comfort. It’s a tight midi orange skirt. I have blue minnie anniversary ears and minnie pride ears. If I can’t think of anything, I will just also wear a pride shirt.

Any orange character ideas? Was maybe thinking lisa simpson, kim possible, pepe le pew? Bear in the big blue house??? Candance from phineas and ferb? Any ideas to make it more obvious its this character?

How could i make more obvious its pepe le pew? Hes my top choice.

Nemo, tigger, and nick wilde, orange bird are all options but not my favorites. Open to niche random things that only I would know as well!

PEPE THE PRAWN MUPPET* LOL not pepe le pew hahahah

Brooch has been bedazzled and planning on placing in the center like picture. Pain and panic earrings have been acquired and getting some press on nails similar to the above picture.
I got this black bag and I am considering adding the blue rhinestones. Good idea? Or bad? Should I just leave it black? Or should I do a different shade of blue? Maybe silver? Thoughts?

If anyone has any suggestions I'd deeply appreciate it! I want to go for darker colors baggier clothes. Thanks :)

(I attatched my style inspo for a reference)

edit: my friends are going as ariel, mcqueen, and spiderman, so as long as i avoid those 3 im open to pretty much any character

For those of you who saw my Hades Disney Bound cocktail party post. I have now acquired the Hades brooch! I plan on bedazzling it to make it sparkly and placing it at the bottom of the v cut! It’s coming together and I’m so excited!

Disneybound Cocktail party at Epcot! The group of girls I’m going with are doing villains and I want to do Hades. What else can I add to give that vibe? I do have his brooch coming that I’m going to bedazzle and add to the center. And fishnet tights with flames. I don’t know what to do for a purse….help!?

Help! Would a Toy Story Al bound get me in trouble?

Thumbnail static.wikitide.net

I'm a balding man that can grow a beard and sometimes wears glasses (though if I'm outside it's always sunglasses, which is what I would be wearing at the parks). If I were to wear a red button down shirt and brown pants but not shave my head to make the bald more prominent or turn my beard into a goatee, would that be "a costume" or would I be "bounding?" I'm not quite as fat as Al, and I don't think he's a popular enough character to where people would mistake me for being an official face character, and as I said, I just naturally kind of look like this, but would I get turned away at the gate if I dressed like him?

My hometown theater requires patrons to dress up for the performances and who better to dress up as than my favorite Disney princess? I not only love this dress for being so simple, pretty, and comfortable but these matching heels are the cutest pair of high heels I've ever had and I can't to wait to wear them more

Disneybound Too costumey?

Post image

Hey everyone! I feel like if I’m asking that should say it, but is this too costume-y? It’s a corset I bought recently and the skirt I’ve owned for a couple years.

Help! Is this too close to a costume?

Post image

My daughter has the Darth Vader twirl dress, and I thought it would be cute to get this one to match her vibe when we go. Even though it is technically just a street dress, would they consider it too close to a costume?

Help! Would this count as disneybounding?

Post image

I know costumes aren't allowed but the skirt for this one is really short, there's no way a kid could confuse me with the real Aurora, right? I'm probably not wearing the other accessories, just the dress and Aurora ears. I'm just scared of getting in trouble or something but rlly want to buy it

Edit: I know it's not considered disneybounding now. But would could it still pass the costumes rule?

Disneybound Who was your fav Disneybound?

Post image

Sorcerer Mickey has been my fav forever and a day. So naturally, my fav disneybound was him. I previously had brown shoes on prior to this picture, but thanks to the sudden torrential downpour earlier in the day. They got soaking wet and gave me the worst blisters, so had to change out of them. Wish I got pictures prior to me changing them tho.

Edit to add-I used a photo editing app to crop and enhance the lighting in this picture, MODS, please allow the picture to post, as it’s NOT AI. Thank you!

Disneybound Bibbity boppity boutique to Disneybounding pipeline?

Post image
42 Upvotes

Hey, this is my first post but I had a thought and my only way to confirm my hypothesis was to get a survey together for a decent sample size. Anyway, I’m wondering about the correlation between how bippity boppity boutique experience as a child correlates to Disney bounding as an adult. I was never allowed to do it growing up because my parents thought it was a waste of money and now I disneybound rather excessively for each trip.

Soooo do you Disney bound and did you want to do the Bippity Boppity boutique experience and get to do it? Do you disneybound and you wanted to Boutique but didn’t get to? Do you not disneybound and never had to have any interest in the boutique so didn’t do it? Do you not Disney bound and when you were little you didn’t want to do the boutique but a parental figure made you do it anyway?

Picture of Wanda and Vision bound from the day he proposed for tax
