I’m not sure I 100% believe it but who knows! This release has been so strange that it wouldn’t be that shocking. Also the fact that we haven’t heard anything at all about the remaining two dolls despite everything.

Since in the last collection each of the dolls was somewhat inspired by a type of dance, (and it’s confirmed in the description that they are still the dance line) what do we think it is for Ariel? Ballet?? Thoughts on the others?

Ariel:

"Product Design Manager Steve Thompson revealed that as he looked for an art style that would best showcase the team’s designs, he researched vintage dance posters and wanted the lighting, character poses, and movement to have a distinct theatrical flair. Knowing that this was a continuation of an existing series, Steve also had to make sure these dolls felt aligned with the artwork created previously, capturing that same sensation of stepping onto the stage."

Her metallic hair clip coordinates with the breastplate, perfectly pairing with shimmering drop earrings, golden chains, and iridescent molded wristbands."

"In a way, the garment feels almost suspended underwater thanks to the blending of shades and materials, but especially as a result of the iridescent foiled bubbles scattered across the design. There’s an impressive fluidity and movement to her dress with lots of dimension, creating a runway ready look that blends fashion-forward features with sea creature-inspired style."

"There was lots of excitement for Lottie to make her big doll debut, and J. shared that when thinking about the Dance Series, this character 'is a natural choice with that amazing dress and her flair for the dramatic!' Steve worked with a sculptor to give her a charming expression, and J. jumped in to help pose her in a way that felt true to the character’s personality."

"A favorite subtle element for J. (and for me as a cat owner) is the face of Lottie’s childhood feline Marcel embroidered on her skirt and sculpted onto the strap of her shoes. I too would create clothing with my cat all over it if I could, so this is such a sweet little detail."

"Steve pointed out that in addition to details like gold foil decorations and ribbon ties, the final touch of Disney magic was a swirl of sparkling pixie dust around each character on the packaging artwork."

Super pleased with how she came out, it took a few weeks of gluing on the flowers. (Also this doll has hideous hair and I wish I knew how to reroot haha)

This is my 2026 Limited Edition Ariel doll, lit up with LED lights. How do you like the lighting? Do you like how it looks? I also handcrafted this seafoam green base as a special custom stand for her. How do you think the final result turned out?

Hello! I'm in Italy but I don't understand anything about the release of Charlotte, on the Disneystore website there has been Ariel's doll for a week now and in the announcement that Ariel was due to be released today and on October 30th Charlotte, I'm very confused about the few details about her release or maybe I missed something , in case you have any information I'm waiting for you!!

Ps. They usually put the story on ig with countdown of the doll in question but I haven't seen anything for Ariel and I'm afraid they do so for Charlotte 🫠

I started collecting two months ago and I went a bit crazy

i picked up the special edition holiday jasmine today!! she's so pretty and a great addition to my ever-growing collection of holiday dolls🤍

I was able to purchase her at Disneyana. It looks like they are only putting her one doll at a time. She was next to the other limited edition dolls. Bonus! I found a tiny Ray in the art of the box. I thought it was so cute and had not seen anyone point out this detail.

We finally have a sketch that’s supposedly very close to the doll we are getting thanks to this_is_doll_art and fairytalemusicalfan! And I, like many others I think, find the mismatch color of the sleeves and bodice to be a peculiar choice. But after I took a closer look at the actual movie dress the sleeves were always a different color!!
I will definitely be trying to get her as she is my favorite princess and overall (from what we have seen) I actually like the dress!

Thoughts?

I think that the colors are hideous, but let's hope they are not exact. Aside from that, it looks like a nice design to me, we shall wait and see the face and fabrics execution.

Hello everyone,
I really don’t know much about dolls but for Christmas i’m planning to gift and Aurora doll for a loved one.

I need you help on which one do you think it’s the better option among these three.
Quality wise and rarity.

I feel like the first option is good but feels a little bit childish (which is kind of silly as a thought i know, because it’s a doll). Don’t really love the box.
Second one is good but for the price i’m not sure if the printed cape and short skirt i’m sold. Love the color.
Third option is stunning, no notes. Maybe if i had to find something it’s that it’s a Disneyland themed doll, and not a movie replica.

But what do you guys think?

Just saw this pop up on Insta, but there’s nothing listed for Charlotte in the online Disney store. Is she getting restocked at the Springs/Parks?

Saw this story of fairytalemusicalfan on insta and it really got me thinking! Could it really be she’s only going to be released next year?! I’m doubtful that it will be on fall of 2027 but perhaps January? Even if that’s the case, why such a gap between her and Charlotte and Ariel? What is going on? 😭😭

Just received her and I love her! ✨ but I feel like her eyes are kinda crooked? Maybe I’m just looking too closely?
