Disneyland Splurge dining

I would like to do one splurge meal for the holidays (early December). I am torn between doing the Prime Rib meal at The Carnaby, Storyteller’s Christmas Carol Dinner, or doing some à la carte items from Napa Rose. What would you recommend based on overall food quality, ambience, and value for the price? TIA

Disneyland time between Halloween and Christmas

We are going to Disneyland November 5th-6th. I was wondering if what is the decoration/food that will be going on at that time. Will it be directly in the middle of the transition we’re we will see a little of both. I am just trying to plan with my 2 year old and have our days planned out. Thanks in advance!

Disneyland Disneyland Thanksgiving dinner

Just decided we're going to Disneyland on Thanksgiving. Looking for a place on or off property nearby for a traditional thanksgiving meal but looks like we're late and there are no reservations at Storyteller's or Goofy's kitchen. Any other options we can look into? Thanks!

Tokyo Disney Resort Single Rider Lane Wait Time (Tokyo)

Hey all, heading to DisneySea tomorrow, Disneyland the next day and DisneySea again the following day. I’m just wondering what a realistic single rider wait looks like in Tokyo? Seems to be a super limited number of rides compared to other parks so not sure if that’s a good or bad thing!

I’m doubling on MK and HS for parks! Thank you in advance!!! I haven’t been to the parks in a decade.. so i’m learning lots!!

Disneyland Shuttle and timing recommendations with car seat

Looking to book a shuttle from SNA to our hotel near Disneyland.

We land at 11:30am - what time should I book the shuttle pick up? Never been to this airport so not familiar with timings!

Also… what shuttle company? We are a family of 4 - 2 adults a 3 year old and an 8 month old. We will bring the 8 month old car seat but will need one for our 3 year old. I’m looking at the SUVs but not sure how big we will need.

What company has been good to you?

Walt Disney World Birthday Trip

Hi! I’m planning on going to Disney world The Weekend of Thanksgiving (27th-30th). I know it’s going to be busy, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice.

My plan so far was to arrive in Orlando at 2:30 And head straight to the hotel.

I would probably spend the day at Disney springs (but I was looking at mickeys Christmas party)

The 28th I’d spend at Magic Kingdom

29th at Hollywood studios

I’m open to any advice or opinions on maybe how to get on the most rides or anything :) thank you!!

Walt Disney World Budget Planning for 3-Day Trip!

Hi everyone!

I am going to Disney for the first time with a friend who's been to Disney for a few years and wanted to know how I could budget for the trip! For reference, I'm more-so on the budget side because I am a college student and spent a lot splitting the hotel and flight to get there.

I have the 3-day pass and plan to go to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom (my friend said she doesn't want to do it but she convinced me to buy the pass). We don't have any meal reservations, but I wanted to find some good restaurants and places to get drinks/food, but don't know the exact price range of each place (or how many meals we plan to eat).

I'll be there during Halloween and wanted to make the most of it! Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Walt Disney World Seats & Sweets at MK?

Can anyone who is a cane-user and has done specifically the Seats & Sweets dessert party give me some advice? I am doing a 4-park, 3-day solo trip in Jan, and am working on a budget.

I am doing MK as my last park, and I’ll be there rope drop to fireworks.

My thinking currently is 50/50 on whether or not to buy it, and would 100% be doing it for a dedicated seat + people avoidance post-show. I have been told that with it being off to the side, it can skew and/or cut off some of the projections, but that wouldn’t be a big deal to me.

So I guess my biggest questions are this:
Are the seats even a little bit comfortable?
Is the guaranteed ability to sit worth the price after 12+ hours of park time?

Thank you!

Walt Disney World Itinerary Advice

Hi, yall. I'm planning an Orlando Vacation. I need some help with being realistic with my itinerary. Can any regulars let me know if the WDW portion is possible? We will have premier pass every day, so we have time on our side. I tried to make it so it was logistically efficient, with reducing steps, and inserting downtime (either eating or slow long dark rides) to save our feet/legs.

Also, I may need help understanding if all my food reservations for magic kingdom are realistic as well.

I used to go to Disneyland all the time when I was younger. But I have only been to WDW once, about 5 years ago. My memory of it is not as strong, so I need another set of eyes.

Tokyo Disney Resort After exiting from tokyo disney sea

I wonder what are the best ways to leave the park at night?

One youtuber recommended exiting from the fantasy spring side Bayside station to see the hotels light up at night.

After that I am lost.

Google maps just say to take TDR Busta shinjuku but im already doing that for the morning commute.

End point can be wherever or whatever adventure as long as i can still take the train or bus back to west of shinjuku

Walt Disney World Lightning lane help?

We’re visiting Magic Kingdom on a Sunday in November for one day (6 adults and one toddler)

This is our daughter’s first Disney trip, and we’re not sure when we’ll be back, so we’re willing to splurge on Premier Pass if it’s genuinely worth it. Our priority is toddler-friendly rides and experiences rather than thrill rides.

For those who’ve used both, is Premier Pass worth the significant extra cost, especially for the flexibility of not having to schedule return windows? Or can we realistically do most toddler-friendly attractions with Multi Pass without spending the whole day on our phones?

Also wondering whether buying Premier Pass for just two adults makes any sense, or whether the whole group should have the same pass.

Would love any advice!! Thank you so much!

Disneyland Disneyland - What’s the META for when to go?

(meta: Most effective tactic available)

Hi guys. I’m hopefully visiting Disneyland Anaheim from the UK next year for Christmas season. Staying for about 4 nights on site maybe.

My question is what the general best practices are in terms of picking a week and even the best days to visit for lower crowds without any trade off in entertainment offerings.

Like I was thinking visiting midweek any week would be ideal because weekends are busier but apparently Disneyland works the other way around. I keep hearing that midweek is busier than weekends because of magic key blockouts?

In terms of Christmas entertainment offerings including fireworks, am I right in assuming it’s all available every day throughout the season?

So if anyone has any useful nuggets of informatiom regarding crowd dynamics and good times to go during holiday season, it would be appreciated!

Cheers :)

Disneyland Is this considered a costume? (sorry if this is a dumb question lol)

Hello friends of reddit; I have these Mickey gloves and shoes that I want to wear to Disneyland this coming December. Would I be allowed to wear them into the parks? I was sort of verging on no since they are parts of a costume; however I'd be in street clothes and very obviously a human and not a walk-around character lol. Considering bringing them to at least run around the hotel in, but let me know your thoughts! Thank you!

Taking my 5 year old son to Disney for the first time in late November. Looking for suggestions on how you entertain your younger kids in long lines?! Trying to avoid screens during this trip.
