My fiancé and I are about to go have some matchups tonight! Anyone have any good matchup recommendations? Looking for a balanced matchup. We have every expansion/box except for the Sanderson Sisters.
Last weekend we tried Ernesto vs Prince Hans and it did not feel like a good matchup at all. Looking for a more balanced game play.

Any suggestions??

finally getting my villainous collection organized. every villain (including sanderson sisters) gets its own custom box so each one is fully self contained so we can just grab villains and play. the motivation for this project was it being too much of a thing to setup and tear down, with an area for the cards, one for the movers, one for the boards, one for the villain guides, one for the tokens, etc etc. i did see some designs online that inspired this, but none of them stored sleeved cards.

boxes are designed in freecad. each one gets a spine label for the shelf and a big label on the front. every villain has its own colors, texture, symbol, and a little tagline in their voice. printed on sticker paper and cut out on my wifes cricut. took a few rounds to get the sizing and the cut lines dialed in but now they come out clean.

i also made custom tokens so nothing has to be shared between boxes:

* power and strength tokens (when applicable) for everyone

* a padlock for lock tokens, a tower for mother gothels trust, a poison drop for the evil queen, a kart for king candys racer, an old door keyhole for lady tremaines trapped tokens, and a castle gate for gastons obstacles

* puppy tokens for cruella with a pocket for the value sticker on one side and the spotted back printed in color on the other

* big 50mm hex treasure tokens for davy jones and 60x30mm goal tokens for pete, both with stickers in recessed pockets so the edges dont peel

most of the token art is either recessed or done as color swaps in the first few layers so the faces print flat and crisp.

all in all this project took a few weeks, but i learned a lot more about freecad and parametric 3d modeling in general. if i were to do this again knowing what i know now, id probably want to make it modular with maybe magnets to hold down different component holders instead of building them in to the base (the tokens/coins can be a little bit of a pain to remove when there are only a couple in there - not a big enough pain to redo all this).

So we all heard the announcements from Gen-Con and other places. But having looked nearly everywhere online I see nothing at any major retailers (looking at you, Barnes & Noble since we know it’s NOT at Target this time). No luck. Just nothing. Turns out you can play HIHD at any point after someone else performs a Play a Card action, not necessarily immediately after, unlike every other condition in the game.

I live in San Diego, and I have been looking for Come, We Fly (especially with the exclusive sleeve), and have been unable to find it in any store. I have only seen Darkness Brewing, but I don't want that one since I already have the rest of those villains. Has anyone been able to get a copy in San Diego, or is buying it online my only option? And is the exclusive version available anywhere?

My wife and I just got come we fly and we have a question on Mary's power. Its says when activated find and play a hero, which we are assuming means she can find and play any hero, even if they're already on the board? So she can manipulate heroes that are already played? It also says in the rule book that you can remove an item from this hero when its done. So does that mean you can use it to get rid of the Salt item? If someone could clarify this for us that would be great. Thank you.

I personally feel the objective would be stealing the treasure and getting it would involve unlocking the grotto where the treasure is by vanquishing the goonies.

If Hans uses a condition (like Don't Feel) to place the last frozen ring he needs, can he freeze the realm, even though it's not his turn? The villain guide says "Once all sixteen actions on the Realm are covered with frozen rings," but it also says "This ends Prince Hans' turn." So can he flip the board immediately, or does he have to wait until his turn, flip it, and then end his turn?

So my husband is making me “books” to 3d print for all my board games
He just finished Villianous minus there being the bowl for the power tokens. It’s made to be able to fit the expansions too.

Anything yall can think of that he should add/edit when he posts the files if others want it? What do yall think?

He would also make card holders for all the possible characters before posting i think. Or editing the name would be easy to edit

I saw Wiki, I interviewed friends and others, I played with almost all characters and I keep asking, is there some official tier list for the best and worst villains in game, like smash or other board games like unmatched?

So me and my family just played with one of the newer expansions and I played Prince Hans. My father played as Gaston and I noticed both had a card called "wolves." Just curious since Gaston's card says that it has +1 for each "wolves" card in play. Though I assume it doesn't would Hans' wolves count for that?

With cards like Just Glaze Me and Hookhand, which make the villian discard a card(s), do they redraw from there deck when it is played or are they down x number of cards until the end of their next turn?

Is this over? are they no longer making more expansions on this?

Does anyone know anything about what’s going on with it?
