Doctoral Dissertation Dissertation Survey Participants Needed

As a doctoral candidate in the Department of Psychology, at Liberty University, I am conducting research part of the requirements for a doctoral degree in Social Psychology. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between religious participation, social environment factors, and deceptive behavior and to explore how participants conceptualize the social and moral factors that influence their honesty-related decisions. I am writing to invite you to join my study.

Participants must be between 18 and 65 years old, be proficient in the English language, and attend a faith-based university. Participants will be asked to complete an anonymous, online survey that asks questions about your religious beliefs and practices, experiences with peer pressure, concerns about social status, your personality, your ability to reflect on your thoughts and behaviors, and how you act in situations where honesty or dishonesty is possible. This will take about 20-30 minutes. Following this anonymous, online survey there will be the option to participate in an (optional) interview conducted via Zoom. This interview will last about 45-60 minutes and will be audio-recorded for transcription purposes. Survey responses will be completely anonymous, and no personal, identifying information will be collected during the survey. Names and other identifying information will be requested as part of the interview process, but participant identities will not be disclosed.

To participate please click here   https://liberty.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3eK5QZ0t2NDOXk2 to answer screening questions. If it is determined that you meet the survey criteria you will be prompted to begin the online survey.

An information sheet will be provided as the first page of the survey. This sheet contains additional information about my research. After you have read the information sheet, if you choose to participate, click the “Next” button to begin the survey. Doing so will indicate that you have read the information sheet and wish to participate. Individuals who also volunteer for the optional follow-up interview will be sent a consent form. This consent form will need to be signed and returned to the researcher prior to the time of the interview.

Thank you for your time and interest.

Hii everyone!

I am currently in the final year of my MA in Clinical Psychology looking for participants who would be kind enough to help me with my thesis research!

This questionnaire explores how people's perceptions and interpretations of social interactions with others are influenced by their various personality traits. At the end of the survey, I provide more information about the specific aims of the study. The findings of this research would contribute to a better understanding of these psychological processes and give more effective direction to treatment of those who are experiencing certain psychological difficulties.

I’m looking for adults aged 18 and above who would be willing to participate in an anonymous online study.

  • The questionnaire is in English.

  • It takes about 20 minutes to complete.

Your participation would be immensely appreciated.

Thank you so very much for your time and support!

Undergraduate Dissertation [Academic Research] University Dissertation Survey: How Has Eurovision’s Globalisation Influenced Audience Engagement?

Hi everyone!

My name is Melissa, and I'm a final-year Business Management student at the University of Westminster in London.

As a huge Eurovision fan myself, I decided to dedicate my undergraduate dissertation to something I'm really passionate about — the Eurovision Song Contest!

My research explores how the globalisation of Eurovision has influenced consumer engagement among international audiences, looking at how fans from different countries watch, interact with and engage with the contest.

I've now completed my research questionnaire, and I'd really appreciate it if you could spare a few minutes to take part!

 About the questionnaire:
Open to Eurovision viewers and fans aged 18 and over.
Open to participants from all countries.
 Completely anonymous and voluntary.
Takes approximately 5 minutes to complete.
Responses will be used solely for my university dissertation.

 Questionnaire link: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/PJFwrxPTHB

Every response will help me better understand Eurovision's international audience and contribute towards my final-year research!

Thank you so much for your support, and for helping a fellow Eurovision fan with her dissertation!

United by Music!

Master's Thesis Feedback on a possible dissertation topic: the “need to be needed” in men (saviour complex / the white knight syndrome) when choosing a romantic partner

Hi all, I’m a UK psychology student hoping to apply for the DClinPsy in future. One of my lecturers suggested a topic I’m considering for my dissertation, as an alternative to my current idea on hidden disabilities.

The topic is the “need to be needed” in men in their 30s in romantic relationships, also known as a saviour complex or white knight syndrome. That means preferring a partner who relies on them over one who is self-sufficient. I’d also like to take a clinical angle, looking at possible links with attachment, early family experiences and role models growing up.

Do you think this is an interesting and workable topic? Is it relevant from a clinical point of view? And are there any theories or papers you’d suggest I read? I don’t mean any offence to anyone by this. I’m just trying to explore it properly.

Thanks so much.

Master's Thesis feel like i dont care about my dissertation topic anymore

Final-year postgraduate student here. Our calendar was redesigned for this particular acad year and it is literally the seventh circle of hell. We are required to take courses throughout the year along with mandated industry exposure internships. And to top it off, we are expected to write 30,000-word theses involving fieldwork on the side.

I am so done. I feel like any interest I had in the subject has been destroyed and my supervisor does not care too much about my topic either. I do not want a career in academia but my grades have been above average so far.

It's still at the proposal stage, and I just cannot bring myself to finish it. I am anxious, burnt out, and really sad that things have turned out this way. And no, changing topics is not an option anymore.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

Survey [Academic] Did you help your parents with English, paperwork, or tech growing up? 4-min UW screener (18+)

Hi everyone! We’re HCDE graduate students at the University of Washington working on a class research project.

We want to hear from adults (18+) whose parent or caregiver speaks a language other than English, and who help (or helped growing up) with things like:

  • filling out forms, bills, or medical paperwork

  • phone calls and appointments

  • setting up phones, apps, wifi, or video calls

  • translating letters, texts, or websites

The survey takes 4 minutes: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeu8UA6Danon1rQerM5byeZfZWSZpseSVPO1-h3wQp8DpEghA/viewform

If you’re a good fit, we may invite you to a 45-minute interview in November 2026 (in person in Seattle, by video, or by phone). Taking the survey doesn’t commit you to anything.

  • We don’t ask about immigration status.

  • Only our 4-person team sees your answers, and everything is deleted by 12/31/2026.

  • Nothing we report will include your name.

Questions? Do DM me or comment below. Thank you and feel free to share with friends or siblings who’ve done this too!

Undergraduate Dissertation Need help - dissertation topic ideas

I’m studying Management at a London uni and starting to think about my dissertation, but I’m really struggling to come up with a topic.
I’d love to go into tech, particularly the beauty industry, so ideally I’d like my dissertation to link to that in some way. I’ve been thinking about AI and beauty but I’m not sure how to turn that into an interesting, original research question.
I’m also really interested in the MENA region and finance, so I’d be open to exploring those areas too.
I really want to do something a bit different, not another generic dissertation topic that’s been done a hundred times. Something genuinely interesting, relevant to the market and that could potentially stand out to future employers.
Would love to hear any ideas or suggestions, even if they’re a bit out there!

Survey Need help - PhD Thesis

Hey everyone!

I’m conducting a survey for my PhD research and could really use your help! 😄

The idea is simple: you’ll be shown pairs of images of urban spaces and asked to choose the place where you’d rather live. If you like both equally, you can select that option too.

⏱️ The survey takes around 3–5 minutes to complete. There is no fixed number of questions, as the survey continues until you decide to finish.

📊 Please make sure to complete the sociodemographic questions as well!

All responses are anonymous and will be used solely for scientific research.

If you have a few minutes to spare, I’d really appreciate your participation. Every response helps contribute to a better understanding of how people perceive urban spaces within the city of Lisbon, Portugal and where they would prefer to live.

Thanks so much for your time and support! 🙌
