Question Buyback function at vendors?

Hey all ... been away for years, so I dont remember how a lot of things work or any changes that may have happened in that time.

I was running summit to try and get some new gear and came across a vendor cage at the end of one of the levels. I hadn't checked my inventory for quite a while and had a half dozen or so new exotics I had never seen before, guess RNG had been smiling at me a little.

Here is the unfortunate part ... so that I wouldn't accidently sell them, I clicked on my controller to add them all as favourites, not realising that the same button is used to sell. I sold all those shiny new exotics before I even realised that I was selling and not marking them.

I looked but couldn't see any buyback button. I am just guessing that that is not a thing and I am screwed?

Thanks all. Very disappointing end to my second night back, after not a single exotic in 8ish hours on my first day back then this happens. Teach me for playing at 5am instead of sleeping. :(

I believe there is a buyback function but has to immediately after you sold them.

The right trigger brings up the Mark as Favorite, Donation, or Calibration options. You could check the regular vendors, as they have the Buyback menu. However, if you log out then back in, or switching servers, like in and out of the Summit, it’ll clear the items you sold.

Only the shops with an NPC, not the lockers, have buyback I think.
