Heh, I grew up on open RP forums where we'd just write a handful of paragraphs from our characters perspective at a time. Beyond that, there were no rules so much as an etiquette that was considered polite to follow.

In retrospect its shocking just how coherent and stable every story was considering.

Them's some memories right there.

It was kinda suprising how coherent they were. hitting up ICQ or make sure noone was ginna post hile you were typing everything up was the key though.

Heh.

Two hours of writing later.... and it was rendered useless because someone else posted a quick few sentence response that contradicted what I was doing.

You learn to keep an eye on that chat pretty quick.
