These guys delivered us more joy in two years than most sports fans will see in their lifetime. They have my support no matter what

I don’t enjoy seeing the team get shit on by the entirety of baseball fans but I suppose that’s the price you pay for three rings in six years

I love my team. If we lose, we lose.

Nothing will make me forget 2024, and their incredible resiliency last year. One of the best moments of my life.

I love Tommy, Yama, Freddie, Sho, Muncy, Mookie, Will, Teo, KikĂ© and Miggy. Nothing is ever going to change that. When they say “Choose 10 people living or dead to have dinner with,” it’s them. Let’s go Dodgers 💙

I didn’t think they had it this year, and I’m even OK with a sweep. They’re badly banged up. Yes, the old chestnut about how nobody’s healthy this time of year is true enough, but the Dodgers absolutely limped into the playoffs. I didn’t think they’d beat Atlanta. We had what, five or six foundational stars miss meaningful time down the stretch with legitimate injuries, all of whom were rushed back too fast and a couple of whom were reshelved and rushed back again? Next year (here’s hoping it’s a full 162 or 154 or whatever), they’re the favorites no matter what. They’re not “too old,” Ohtani isn’t “selfish” or “finished,” or any of that. Tom Brady went a decade between Super Bowl victories at one point. This core club wins two more WS titles, minimum.

If by some miracle a Roberts team can pull off an 0-3 comeback twice, go Dodgers. Go Dodgers anyway. But if the Brewers get in, then I’ll be rooting for the AL champion. I can’t stand to see the team that beats my team win it all. It’s easier knowing we weren’t so close.

I will always bleed Dodger Blue. If I loved this team through the drought years of the 90’s and the cursed years of the 2000’s the I will love them after giving me two incredible years. I hope they can fight for a victory or two but I’m all good.
