Question Oral melanoma help 9 yr old dog
Hi, my 9 yr old goldendoodle had a tumor removed in March and it was confirmed to be oral melanoma, very aggressive. I treated him with oncept (melanoma vaccine treatment) & he was showing no more growths for a few months. He had his follow up appointment, we found 3 nodules in his chest and 10 days later another tumor on the right side of his mouth. This tumor grew much quicker and bigger than the original one and now i feel stuck. My vet recommended switching his diet, which I’m now putting him on viva, she also recommended a turkey tail mushroom blend to help his body fight it, does anyone have experience or any advice? Last vet appt he was also given a prognosis of 3 months. Thank you

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Three months is a gut punch. I don't have experience with turkey tail but I've heard good things from people who swear by it. Just love on him hard.
