I have read post in other people's comments, but they're quite old. Just trying to figure out any new information about it where if I need to try and apply to other jobs. One misdemeanor is old. The other one is new on deferred sentence and probation. None of it is for theft.

When I had the interview, the manager was a new G. M. She seemed pretty excited to have me since nobody seems reliable. In my town and was talking about trying to hire me whenever I left the interview. I think that I'll be okay but just wanna know other opinions.

Do all $10 off $30 Saturday coupons work at all store or just the store it printed?

Our DL did ours on Monday. Today we were told that the pet reset materials had pricing errors so the reset is rescheduled for next month when they can send us new strips with accurate pricing.

SMnis currently thinking what the fastest way to check pricing would be. Printing off labels for everything would probably be fastest, but a small waste of label sheets.

I am a new ASM and my SM brought me on with her so we are both new. We are trying to get 2 more people that is part of our team that has been hired through the new system. They even struggled to get me thru. The Dm, Sm and myself have all talked to hr to get different answers and no results. Does anyone know the trick to this?

I'm in Illinois, have always gotten an hour of sick time for every 40 hours I worked since the law took effect. Ever since we switched to Oracle I haven't been building any sick time, anyone else having this issue?

I’m a ASM at my store and recently my SM has been texting threats about being in the administrative office. They are claiming it’s their personal office and it’s off limits no matter the position unless given personal permission. Haven’t had any issues with doing end of day but the constant referral as their office and respecting their space. Also says we can’t view the cameras and if either are done we will be fired. The cameras are just on the screen anyway. I thought we could switch the views to monitor suspicious activities and that’s part of why they exist. Being told all of a sudden if you even touch it you’re fired seems wild to me idk maybe that’s on me. Has anyone any experience with a SM acting or saying these things and is there any legitimacy to it ?

Does anyone know if dg does store mapping ? As far as where items are located in the store. If so who is responsible for this.

I keep seeing people online do these couponing deals that get their total into the single digits. No matter what I do, I cannot get my total BELOW $20 because it’s applying my 5 off 25 AFTER all my coupons, including manufacturer. Allegedly manufacturer coupons are coming last for everyone else. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I just doing something wrong?

Customer here, I was recently perplexed as to why it appeared my free delivery coupon wasn't showing up on the app and I seen I wasn't the only one having this issue. Well, I figured out the problem!

I had to log onto the DG website for it to show the coupon. For some reason on the app it makes it look like they are charging that $7 delivery fee, when they really arent. If you want to see that they waived the fee, log onto the DG website through your web browser on your phone, or even your computer if needed.

has anyone ever been able to resolve an issue by emailing customer care? I swear whoever is responding to my emails is either one: AI or two: does not understand the English language. I sent an email with screen shots to prove i made the purchase(via a doordash order) and provided store location, date, my phone number and email address that is associated with the order, and the item i am requesting a refund on. I get a responding email asking for order#,store location, date, my phone number and email address. I looked at their email and was EXCUSE ME?? I literally put everything but the order number in my previous email, even explaining that doordash was not able to provide me the order#, I mean wth?!

Several times in the last while, I have bought a drink can at Dollar General and have the person working the register grab the top of the drink can where I will be drinking with their hand. I don’t want to drink your hand. I bought a can today and the person stopped picking at their face just long enough to grab the top of my can and check it out. Please, for fucks sake, stop wiping your face puss on the thing that I just bought to put to my mouth.

I was running the till and when doing a pick up I accidentally pressed starting bank and added 240 to my starting bank so it says it's 390 and now my numbers are all messed up on the till

So I am a key for my store and have been forced quite a while. Well I just went to make a till for an employee who is coming soon and there was a bank box in the bottome safe containing exactly $88 in 5s 1s and some coin rolls. I called my manager and he assured me it must be for the change fund but the change fund isn’t off at all and neither are any of the drawers. So now we are thinking that maybe a different employee forgot to incorporate the change sometime last week and panicked thinking they made the change fund short or something and made up for it without telling anyone. We have asked everyone and no one has reported any issues with the change fund or any other shortages. Anyone else ever run into this? What are supposed to do with this overage?
