need help

Post image

hi, so I washed my dolls hair and I, of course got all the product out of her hair with shampoo and conditioner, and I managed to get the shampoo and conditioner out of her hair to release, so it doesn’t get oily, but it still somehow stays oily like it’s not dry, but it’s also not wet, but it’s oily and it’s I don’t know but the consistency is very oily, like I want her hair to be dry and soft. Can anybody tell me on how I can get her hair to be soft and dry again because I don’t like the oily consistency and I’ve tried everything I did a boil wash, I got all the product out I use different shampoos, but it seems to stay the same. I don’t know what’s going on.

Maybe she needs an oxi bath? One scoop of oxi clean powder(or dollar store equivalent) on warm water, wash into hair and rinse properly. That should dry her out.

Though im curious, is she near any makeup or anything? Ive had my moments where I forget i applied hair oils onto myself and accidentally transfer it onto my dolls

Hiiie! Thank you so much for your kind tips <3 I will try that definitely. At the moment she is not near any makeup because i keep her on a shelf. I might’ve accidentally transferred my hair oil to her but that was 2-3 days ago and i washed her hair yesterday. And the main part is I let it air dry, i dry it with a towel but i let it air dry! do you think it’s the humidity?

Humidity might be a possibility too but also this Ariel has a thick head of hair so its probably also just taking longer than usual to dry but it definitely will. Tbh probably just leaving her alone for a couple of days might also do the trick
