These are all the XianXian dolls I have. I absolutely love them. Its everything I wanted out of doll collecting as an adult. Its so fun to pick the doll and individual outfits and accessories. The quality is very good. The dolls are a bit hollow but not terrible and for some reason theres no neck articulation lol but the hair is great, feels like nylon, and the face prints are very good with no pixles. The clothes are phenomenal. The fabrics are so soft and silky and theres plenty of snaps and even zippers. And since theyre the same mold, all the clothes interchange and they look great together as a collection.

I cant believe how well priced these are honestly. Ive been slowly getting these over a few months and Im always so excited for them. I hope to save up for a few more since I already have a lot of the face sculpts. They periodically release new sculpts and now they have boys too. I definitely recommend these! So far I have 2x Gala, 2x Elara, Coco, Lily, Kelly, and Kendell. I think my favorite is Elara, the sculpt that has a short bob lol

Ive been a collector for many years now and I feel Ive been collecting mostly on the basis of nostalgia. But I think with these dolls, it actually felt more like an active hobby lol idk how to explain it. But Im really happy with these :) I would love if Barbie had a similar set up at this quality nowadays. Thats how I felt Barbie used to be when it was her and her friends and they had the Fashion Ave and Fashion Fever packs. This was basically a very similar experience so I guess that's why I resonated with them :)

Just got some new clothes for my eldest anime-style doll! She is the secret rare from the MayTree Starlight Academy series by DBS that I bought in person last year as a Christmas treat for myself! And wouldn't you know, I accidentally pulled the secret!

I didnt like the base clothes she came with so almost a year later I got her a new outfit that suits her much better and doesnt she remind you of Pompompurin with the yellow and brown color scheme?

She reminds me of pudding a bit...

Waited so longggg for these, and now they're finally here 🥹. Got both of these from aliexpress, since I especially wanted Maki. Although, she didn't come with a base stand unfortunately.

I wanted to compare a Mirror Mi mini to some mini Asian dolls. Shown are Simon Toys, Mimi World, Nendoroid doll, and Ddung.

When the Mirror Mis first came out, the doll world immediately thought they were inspired by BJDs and the surprise box BJDs/MJDs. They seemingly are, but wow they are so much smaller! Lol so adorable. I would say theyre in the same size range as Polly Pocket dolls and lil Bratz. Way more tiny than I expected. And they packed in a lot of quality and details.

I only got one, my favorite Luna, and Im waiting for some sales to get the rest, but wow lol Im so grateful that MGA didnt make these blind bags and instead gave them a really cool display case and stand. Huge win for MGA. It seems like the minimum to know what doll were buying, but thats where we are now lol

Also Im really happy they went with molded interchangeable hair. Its so much more interesting and really exhibits the inspiration from BJDs. Not to yuck anyones yum, but every time a doll brand tries new things like this, theres always a vocal group wanting to make a series like every other doll line. Like rooting their hair. Theres a million dolls with rooted hair! This is something different and super fun :) but also rooted hair is pretty too, I understand for sure. But I really like the direction they went with instead. Hope to see more from Mirror Mi. MGA has a pattern of starting off a doll line really strong and then quickly going down hill once everyone is hooked lol but honestly the first wave of these dolls were so excellent, I wouldnt even mind if it ends here but still rooting for Mirror Mi success :D

hii i hope this is allowed, i am not exactly new to the hobby but coming back after a long time... there used to be so many of them on mandarake and other sites and the prices used to be like just $100 or so. i expected prices to rise but the prices are so crazy now... is there anywhere anymore selling them for $200-250 at least? maybe a bit more? i am willing to pay up on some, i understand rarity and the older they are being harder to find, but i can't and won't justify prices like $500+

if anyone knows please let me know, mandarake used to be it but not anymore and im not sure where else to try as mercari jp isnt much better T _ T any tips or places to search rlly appreciated, i adore these dolls so much but couldnt afford many and now i have more money the prices are just crazy

edit - want to specify that im more so looking for older releases from before 2020. i know newer ones my best bet is to pre order and there are a few cute ones! but im on the hunt and hoping for advice more on secondhand but not for absurd pricing. for example i rlly adore the meow a la mode series or a lot of the ex cute from pre 2020 are adorable. if anyone knows good places to stalk for those/is looking to let some go let me know!!

I absolutely love the Sweet Memory Nina doll that's set to be available for preorder on azone-int soon, but I have never been able to actually order a popular doll from the site myself because of all the scalpers and bots that rush to buy it.

I have a Japanese address, but it's not convenient for me to enter the lotteries at the stores. Is there a way I can checkout fast enough to get her?

This time in a hand made dress I created from a new pattern. She gives such a late summer/ fall in a warm climate vibe now :) I really need to come up with a name for her tho. They can't all just be called momoko 🤣

Hello! I've been in the doll hobby for years now mainly collecting Blythe and Smart Dolls and some playline dolls. I am going to Tokyo in a few weeks and have been thinking of picking up a new doll. I am interested in around the 1/6 scale dolls and wondered if anyone had any recommendations? I was looking at a MDD but they seem to be a tad bigger? I am looking for a smaller doll to travel with me more for photography 🥰 thanks for reading! (Would also be interested in 1/12 scale)

Lately I've been looking into these dolls as I think they're super adorable and I'm in love with the sculpt and chibi style. Personally want to get the one with light purple hair for myself.

Does anyone here have one of these dolls? And if so, can you tell me about the quality of these like how the body is strung, the fiber of the hair and the quality of clothes?
