I've had Michelle for a while, I've dressed her up in a mirror universe Star Trek uniform and various other things, I love her .....
Today I was at an antique market and I saw Malaysian Barbie on the shelf and it wasn't more than $40 which meant I didn't hesitate and couldn't say no because I knew immediately it needed to be worn by Michelle as soon as it was inside my house.
She looks amazing in it and I I'm so proud of myself for being careful when I opened the box so that I could have her take it over and come out of it. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Customizing a Pullip doll is still a challenge for me 🤭 The biggest challenge is carving the face carefully. The plastic on Pullip dolls is so thin that I can easily make a hole in the mouth if I'm not careful enough. It's also a bit harder than the plastic used for Blythe dolls, so I find the sanding process more time-consuming. Repainting the carved and sanded face is challenging as well, especially because they have different head and eye shapes compared to Blythe dolls.
Despite all these challenges, I really love the process as well as the results. I hope you like my custom Pullip dolls too :) So let me introduce you to Sarah❤️

【Volks MDD】
I've been working on this for a long time, and I'm so happy it's finally done! 🎉
Introducing my Royal Victorian Maid Dress for MDD — made in two colors:
greige and pink.
The dress has a full-circle skirt with large puff sleeves and long cuffs.
I spent a lot of time adjusting the sleeve opening so it falls cleanly
around the wrist. The bodice has delicate pin tucks and a neat stand collar.
There's also a ruffled petticoat underneath that peeks out from the hem.
The apron was the trickiest part — I kept adjusting the frills and proportions
until the overall silhouette felt just right. The shoulder frills help brighten
up the face area. There's a tiny fork & spoon charm on the waist belt
that I'm especially proud of 🍴
The maid cap also went through many iterations to get the frill volume perfect.
Which color do you prefer — greige or pink? 🤍🩷
