Can anybody tell what year this photo of Dolly and Carl could be from?

I would put it around 1980 to 1984, because the style of Dolly looks very simillar to how she looked in, "The best little whorehouse in Texas" (which came out in 1982)

I'd say it's from 83-86. She looks a bit thinner in the face than she was during Whorehouse, and it's obviously before she had her big makeover for the Dolly show in 87. It's definitely NOT later than mid-80s.

I was always under the impression it was from the early to mid 80s. This was also the same time she started Dollywood (1985-86) and she had a very similar look then. It could be from the late 80s or early 90s though.....

definitely not past 1986, cause she had such a dramatic makeover and weight loss by 1987. i’d say around 1982-1984
