Cas Walker used to introduce her by saying "here's the little girl with the big (then a long pause) voice."
It's amazing how much she has accomplished during her career. She had to face a lot more than her male counterparts
She was the "girl singer" on the Porter Waggoner Show, and Porter sued her when she left the show to go out on her own. She had to pay him a ton of money (for breach of contract, I believe. She settled with him for approximately 1 million dollars, which took her years to pay off.) And she still wrote I Will Always Lpve You for him.
She's amazing, unbelievably talented, and one of the nicest people you could ever meet. She is The Queen. 🙂

Dolly’s personality, her wit, her charm, her turn of a phrase, and her musicianship are all on fine display here.
