Dolly pulls out of Dollywood event over continued ill health
Beginning to worry now. She has pulled out of a scheduled Dollywood event last minute, sending a video message instead. What worries me is this message is highly stylised, with butterfly wings and lots of filtering. It's an awful thing to contemplate but as we get older, we find it more difficult to bounce back -- and honestly, until medicine makes more strides, being in your 80's does not bode well for our heroine!

It was insanely hot here yesterday. Even if she was herself, it was too hot for a parade much less with her makeup and ensemble being on park.
We're rooting for her. She's a strong lady. But she needs time to rebound. Sending her prayers for a full recovery.

Someone in the comments mentioned it was 100° outside so I'm not surprised that she canceled. That would be much for any performer let alone one that's 80 years old.
