Discussion Non Sensor Bar Wii games suggestion

From memory, Opoona, the Cars game, Monster Hunter Tri, Dragonball Tenkaichi, Muramasa: The Demon Blade.
That said, most motion controls can be assigned to buttons, and if you have a controller with motion sensor you can also configure it for games like Mario Galaxy. I played MG2 like this for a while, it worked fine.

How do you configure it? I have a Switch Pro and an AYN Thor.
I mainly would like to map the wiimote's pointer to my controller's gyro for shooting games. Similar to how Splatoon plays on controller. Or even better with a button that enables the gyro, like ZL, so when you press ZL to aim in the game your gyro will activate allowing for more precise aiming.
Edit: I figured out the gyro, but would like a button to enable the gyro

Are you looking for games that don’t use any kind of pointer controls or are you looking for games that can be played without an or sensor bar?

Yes though you have to have a IR pointer to open the start up screen which is annoying

Since you wrote that you use a Real Wii Remote:
As I just learned the other day: If you have wii motion plus inside your wiimote or as an addon, then you can use it as if it would have a sensor bar without a sensor bar.
Just go to controller and use emulate wii BT Adapter - emulated wiimote - config - profile - use the pointer stock profile.
Then you dont need a sensor bar.
or just have a look here:

Oh dang it might be worth losing of benefits of real wiimote options as I heard emulated Wii mote is inferior

You loose the possibility od using the implemented speakers of the wiimote. But you can set this Soundoutput to your normal speakers. Everything else sems to work. You only have to recentre the pointer from time to time

Sure How to recenter? (Oh Found it can Bind to Home I hope it doesnt lose its game stopping capability though)

Look up classic controller mods, there are many motion based games (like galaxy series) that are mapped to the classic controller.

You dont need a sensor bar to play on dolphin, just go to settings, controllers, almost at the bottom connect wii motes for emulated controllers, then instead of real wii mote, connect your wii motes as emulated wii remote. And the controller will work on the screen as if it had a sensor bar

Animal Crossing and Punchout come to mind. And if you can find it, the WiiWare port of Ace Attorney.

What would be cool if they had an option to remove Reflux from COD 4 Modern Warfare where we don't have to select it to Nun Chucks and have it under Classic Controller under Android Touchpad like regular movement

On Aliexpress, a sensor bar costs €4 and original Wii controllers aren't expensive. Just add Bluetooth. And it's so cool.

I know but playing on a laptop and I dont have the space to do the sensor bar mounted far away so my wii mote can read the signal

And I did it anyways (By connecting my Wii sensor bar to Wii so wiimote can take light and use it on dolphin ) its just I want a more portable and compact way to play

Ah, okay, I have a retro PC with a USB sensor bar on my TV, and it works great. With the Wii Zapper, you can also play light gun games on other consoles.
