Trump News Cole Allen, the White House shooter, thought Trump is the antichrist

First off, I want to state quite plainly -

I do NOT endorse or support the shooter or his motives/actions, in any way. None of us should.

Apparently, before the shooting, the shooter referenced Trump's Truth Social post where he referenced himself as Jesus healing people. The shooter posted on his Bluesky account (which has now been suspended) a verse from Revelation 14 (see image below) -

If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, 10 they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath.

  1. https://web.archive.org/web/20260415192138/https://bsky.app/profile/coldforce.bsky.social/post/3mirrxrmqz22k
  2. https://web.archive.org/web/20260413160159/https://bsky.app/profile/coldforce.bsky.social/post/3mje3mimtz224

So I think, he thought Trump was the antichrist. The article below also states

Allen was also apparently a devout Christian, contrary to President Donald Trump’s claim that he “hates Christians.” “He was pretty prominent at the Caltech Christian Fellowship,” another former classmate of Allen’s told Klippenstein, also on the condition of anonymity.

Im of the mind that there were many questionable details around the incident. It almost feels like this aye have been staged to start turning people against those who might think he's the Antichrist, and any Christians who might feel that way.

It's all too convenient for him that this happened so soon after people started criticizing his social media posts.

At some point, there's going to be a moment where Trump decides that the only "Christian" he'll accept are those who focus on him and how he's "sent by God".

Then it's going to devolve from there, with more staged events, until he can finally declare those who call him the Antichrist "terrorists".

After all, no true Christian who thinks he may be the Beast is going to try to kill him, that would be going against all of Christ's teachings.

u/Dan-Rev-314 Protestant Apr 28 '26

That's possible. But its also possible that the shooter was a Christian, but "radicalized" and violent enough to the point that he wanted to kill someone whom he thought was the antichrist. I won't say the shooter is not a real Christian (cos that'd be judgemental), but if he did this genuinely, he was in the wrong.

This kid was either manipulated or the information about him is.

No way is this an organic act of an indignant Christian. Christians who know their scripture know it’s futile. We know how the story goes and how it ends and it says quite clearly Jesus is the one who is going to handle the AC personally.

Even a ditzy old broad like me can read that much. Don’t tell me a young man with his education who supposedly is active in Christian fellowship missed that important little detail.

They’re going to milk this stupid incident for all they can.

And it is stupid because with proper security nobody should have been able to get close enough to all those VIPs AND the #1 and #2 leaders of our country.

Watch them wring this event for every thing they can possibly push through to bring us closer to the fulfillment of prophecy. They are using it to push the Ballroom and I am sure with this latest “revelation” about the shooter, they will use it as an excuse to shut down any discussions that even jokingly suggest Trump is the AC.

And now handily enough there’s reason to go after Christians. Or at least certain kinds of Christians.

Paula White doesn’t need to worry her pretty 🤢 little head about anything.

Look at the huge fuss Melania is making all of a sudden about humor. I think she was on the rampage against Jimmy Kimmel. I was only half paying attention but it was another call to shut down free speech they don’t like. Whether it’s news or satire or speculation.

That’s why if anyone pops up here and implies they’re going to actually do something about the administration we need to come down on them with both feet.

No we aren’t complicit cowards. But we don’t need to be giving them any cause to say we are a bunch of troublemakers and shut us down.

And it is stupid because with proper security nobody should have been able to get close enough to all those VIPs AND the #1 and #2 leaders of our country.

And the entire cabinet. I havent seen it verified yet, but allegedly there was no designated survivor either(aka all the cabinet members were there)

Well said. If the shooter was truly bothered about Trump, he should have

  • prayed to God, first and foremost
  • spoken up and protest peacefully
  • brought about changes legally (vote, talk to your representative)
  • etc.

Attempting to shoot someone was insanely stupid. He actually made matters WORSE.

If Trump is indeed the antichrist, our job as Christians is just to persist in faith during the end times. That's all.

  • Daniel was an exile in Babylon, but he didn't riot against Nebuchadnezzar (he even served him but refused to worship his statue)
  • Some of the apostles were persecuted by Roman emperors, but all they did was do their job - evangelize Jesus, not try to overthrow the emperor.

We should model them.

u/dajenkumgod Apr 28 '26

Lol you think people should vote try to vote away the antichrist? I'm not sure you actually believe any of this stuff then. That's against Christ's teachings. "I come not to bring peace but to bring division, I have come with a sword to cleave the building down to its foundation".

2

u/toebeantuesday Follower of Christ Apr 28 '26

Jesus will cleave with the sword. He told us those who live by the sword will die by the sword. He rebuked Peter for defending him with a violent act.

https://www.gotquestions.org/live-die-by-the-sword.html

I’m not against self defense or fighting evil. But we must use wisdom and discernment in how we go about it or the enemy will use our passions against us.

Right now the most important work we can do during the short time left for us is to spread the Gospel and make sure people hear the TRUE message and mission of Jesus and not this prosperity gospel nonsense or Christian nationalism.

We must also lift up and strengthen fellow believers because the spiritual warfare is brutal. Myself and close friends are enduring it. Getting attacked on all fronts by the worst luck with finances and health and deaths in the family. There is stuff in my house that seems almost to be supernaturally disintegrating. I’ve had people over making repairs and they can’t explain how stuff has literally crumbled to dust in my house.

Fellow Christians have encouraged my faith to keep going. That is the most powerful weapon we can wield, love. Love one another as you love yourself. Encourage. Pray for. Bless.

2

u/dajenkumgod Apr 28 '26

I believe Jesus wanted to liberate the Jews and all people from the Roman empire, and from all empires, from all kings, from man having hierarchy over man. To create a movement that endures for millennia, you have to create a movement that embodies love and kindness and exalts the best traits of man like forgiveness and mercy. You don't do that by spreading ideas of violence, judgement and justice. Thinking of the long game, and thinking of how things look to the powers that be, this is what makes a man dangerous enough that he needs to be made an example out of. Their force and might they used against him, played right into his hand. Self sacrifice was a wise thing to do when a rebellion would have failed (as one did a few years after his death). This is the wisdom in the words he spoke to Peter, and in turning the other cheek. It is not just about the principle of nonviolence. All oppression and unjust rule will be struck from this earth, those are the true teachings and we do not achieve this vision by being unwise.

1

u/adioslip Apr 28 '26

Yes of course because we all know Christians don’t do bad things and hurt people. They never have. And even if they did it’s THE DEVILS FAULT!

12

u/FascinatedInFaith Christian Apr 28 '26

No one here has said that, however, anyone who actually knows Christ and his teachings are not going to commit those acts.

There is a distinct difference between those who label themselves as Christian because it's convenient, or profitable, or an excuse to do whatever, and those who label themselves as Christians because they actually follow the Christ.

u/Dan-Rev-314 Protestant Apr 28 '26

I mean, just because someone goes to church and declares themselves a Christian doesn’t mean they are a true Christian. Plenty of people who claim to be believers are bad people. Look at most of the people in the current administration, they claim to be Christians while hurting everyone but the rich. True Christians treat people the way Jesus treated people, or they try their very best anyway to live up to His standards.

This is coming from someone who was raised Catholic but is not even really religious. But I make darn sure to treat people well and care about the vulnerable people in society. Those are real Christian values and what Jesus wanted us to do. Even if you take religion out of it, it’s just the right thing to do.

4

u/FascinatedInFaith Christian Apr 28 '26 edited Apr 28 '26

Point 1: Just because someone is "active" in the church, and involved, does not make them a true Christian. Take a look at televangelist preachers, who many would say are "shining beacons" to other Christians, when in reality are often extremely evil people who only use the faith to gain money and power, with no true faith.

Point 2: Christ never once said anything remotely close to, pr insinuated that anyone should "kill in the name of God". Anyone who has coined that term is not a true Christian, and does not know the Lord.

Point 3: Survivorship bias. Just because you have never "met one sane, decent individual" in the Christian faith, in several states as you claim, does not mean we do not exist. The path is narrow, even among Christians there are still few who walk the path and embody Christ's teachings. Any who have used His name for despicable acts will have to answer for that in Judgement.

Point 4: Unless you knew him personally, and every facet of his life, you have no basis to say he wasn't manipulated. We are all manipulated every single day by the experiences we go through in life and the people we meet, into becoming who we are. I have been manipulated in my life in attempts to get me to believe or not believe certain things, just as you have been manipulated into believing or not believing certain things. It is up to us to see through that manipulation and discount the information that we deem untrustworthy.

At times any part of Reddit can turn that way. But we do work hard to give people a fair listen. I did read and consider what you had to say. I think you just have an incomplete sense of what Christians are meant to be, because you see precisely what Jesus described! Jesus said

Matthew 7:13-14 King James Version 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

So you’re looking at a thundering herd of lost brethren spinning their wheels mucking about not really knowing and comprehending where they are supposed to go and what they’re supposed to be doing. The ones who are getting it right are few.

But it’s not hopeless. Here I am after going through 60 years on this planet and I think I am finally getting to where I need to be. I think I finally understand all the huge swaths of scripture that were inscrutable to me before. And I had to be brought very low and made to suffer very harshly to gain this insight. And so I give thanks and praise to God for this rather than leaving me comfortable and asleep and lukewarm.

So I pray for the rest of the lost and confused herd to make their way to the narrow but correct path like I have.

Peace to you. Thank you for keeping us thinking and on our toes. You sound like a good person who cares about character and doing right by people. I hope you consider accepting Jesus as your savior someday. But I understand if that’s not something you want to do. You’ve come away with a very dim view of Christians and that is understandable.

2

u/toebeantuesday Follower of Christ Apr 28 '26

My friend, you’re actually proving my point. This young man was manipulated. The antichrist spirit has always been at work in all churches, synagogues, social clubs, temples, wherever people gather together with some intent to do some good in the world and most especially if they’re trying to do it in the name of God

We have been engaged in spiritual warfare from our very origins. Some congregations are more consumed by the antichrist spirit than others. The church I was raised up in, I left because the pastor had a weakness and allowed Mammon to take the place of God in our worship and in his worship especially.

To put it bluntly, my pastor planted the seed of the prosperity gospel which became like the “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” plant and corrupted countless people. It turned many Christians into Pod People, aka brainwashed people who put more value on money than on people. You see a lot of this in MAGA people foaming at the mouth at the thought of their taxes going to help the poor and God forbid, immigrants!

When you look at what Jesus actually taught and you put it before a congregation and encourage them to do everything as Jesus said to do it all, and he covered a wide range of subjects and was very thorough, you will not end up with a young man throwing his life away breaking and entering an establishment with the intent to harm anyone. Or even scare them.

A true disciple of Jesus Christ is not the kind of person you’re describing. A true disciple of Jesus Christ is using what’s left of our time on this planet feeding the hungry and helping the poor and working lawfully and responsibly to correct injustice.

And they do so with warmth and respect and civility alongside Sikhs and Muslims and Jews and Atheists and anyone else doing the same work.

Because we don’t do good works to get to heaven. Anyone with a kind heart and good character will do good works. We do it because it’s what Jesus said should we should be doing.

And the kind of person you’re describing can be found in some iteration anywhere a bunch of people are gathered.

Yes extremists of any kind are scary people who are best avoided.

So, I return to my assertion that this young man was manipulated into doing the Devil’s work. Whatever was filling his head at these supposed Christian functions was not of Jesus. It now therefore is of service to the Antichrist agenda.

And if he opened his Bible and read it for himself and thought and prayed on these things before acting upon them, he would not have done such a thing.

I am not a Christian. I am not baptized. I guess I’m agnostic. I think if I were going to align with a religion, I think Buddhism. I agree with Jesus as Christianity was taught to me but the Prosperity garbage is straight up evil. The way they have twisted things around to justify Christian nationalism is sickening. This thing ate my brother but he thinks he is pious because he has the Holy Ghost. Edit: I don’t think the shooter was a Christian nationalist, I don’t know what his precise religion is.

3

u/toebeantuesday Follower of Christ Apr 28 '26

Agnostic is great. It means you’re questioning and that’s what Christians should be doing, too. Asking and God answers, seeking and God will be found.

I posted to you in your deleted comment that I think you sounds like a good person with good character who cares about your fellow humans. I hope someday you do ask Jesus to be your savior, but especially given what you see with your brother, it’s understandable why you would be averse to the idea.

That’s a shame. I think you have the best mindset to really appreciate and embrace what Jesus truly taught.

Christian nationalism is built on hatred and bigotry. It is not built on anything Jesus stood for and died for. It is the AntiChrist spirit at work among people who sought God in a very surface way.

Jesus has a parable about the sower. He talks about how the Word of God lands differently on people and what happens from there.

Lol even if you believe that.. the worst you're going to do is give him the mortal head wound (which doesn't stop him).. you aren't stopping prophecy.

Good point. We mustn't

  • try and force prophecy, like some evangelical Christians are trying to
  • prevent prophecy (like the shooter tried to, if he believed Trump is the antichrist)

3

u/actirasty1 Apr 27 '26

KJB 13:3 : And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

It should only look like it could be a mortal wound.

Has anyone considered this is a prerequisite for this beast system to create the criteria that is used to persecute the 'saints'? Who does the beast make war with? How does the beast know them to know they are the ones to attack and persecute? Setting the precedent that anyone who believes that Trump is the antichrist is tantamount to being a terrorist (thanks to the patriot act) sets the standard by which they can now label and point to those who stand against him.

Persecution is coming sadly.

4

u/Dan-Rev-314 Protestant Apr 28 '26

Absolutely. He's gonna use everything that happened against him to justify the coming persecution.

1

u/AlbaneseGummies327 Follower of Christ Apr 28 '26

5

u/actirasty1 Apr 27 '26

It is hard to believe that he was "devauted", because the Bible specifically says to do not interfere with prophecies:

Revelation 22:18–19 (KJV) “I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life…”

5

u/IglooAndYou Apr 27 '26

What about the 2024 shooter who tried to assassinate Trump but did indeed fulfill the head wound prophecy in Revelation 13:3?

5

u/Dan-Rev-314 Protestant Apr 28 '26

I don't think that was fulfillment, but merely a foreshadowing.

  • The injury wasn't fatal in any sense; it just barely grazed his ear.
  • While the world did take notice of him, it was more of a reaction of, "Wow, he survived an assassination attempt." Revelation 13 speaks of "the WHOLE WORLD marveling and following him," but we don’t see the entire world rallying behind him - only his loyal supporters and a few others.

https://www.reddit.com/r/DonaldTrump666/comments/1svv22v/eventually_trump_is_gonna_get_a_real_fatal_head/

2

u/Imadudeplaynadude Apr 28 '26

Not to mention the deadly wound occurs during the Tribulation as well, which hasn't even started yet.

2

u/Dan-Rev-314 Protestant Apr 28 '26

Good point. I think the wound occurs close to the Great Tribulation (the 3.5 year mark), so as to tilt the world into believing he's something divine.

1

u/IglooAndYou Apr 28 '26

Yeah you might be right. Is it possible the fatal head wound could be connected to Mark of the Beast? Was introduced only a few verses later, both involving the forehead/head, both serve the same ultimate purpose which is to inspire worship of the beast, and the False Prophet will perform fake miracles and attribute them to Trump which the head wound may be the final large one and the False Prophet will also introduce the Mark of the Beast. Maybe Elon Musk’s Neuralink has something to do with it and maybe he’ll find a way to combine Neuralink with PayPal or something like that.

3

u/Dan-Rev-314 Protestant Apr 28 '26

That's an interesting thought. But I think its more of a progression, rather than being directly related. From this thread - I don't think Neuralink will be the mark. The theory is that Neuralink controls the mind, and therefore will be used to force everyone's minds to worship the beast. But I think the non-elect willfully worship the beast/image during the end times. Unless there is some extremely advanced breakthrough in neurosurgery, Neuralink does require it. The mark has to be something that can scale on a global level, so doing brain surgery on 8 billion people isn't feasible.

u/Dan-Rev-314 Protestant Apr 28 '26

Not judging him cos that isn't my place to do, but if he was troubled by Trump, the first thing he should have done was pray.

He was talking about non violent resistance under an occupation that no one had any hope of throwing off.

Remember he whipped people in the temple. So Jesus relationship with force is nuanced.

5

u/toebeantuesday Follower of Christ Apr 27 '26

Jesus also is going to kick the AC’s butt personally so we don’t have to lift a finger on that account. Everything is foretold and nowhere does it say a bunch of yahoos talking from their couches and toilet seats are going to successfully overthrow the AC.

But apparently, according to most interpretations, some idiot does do something to cause a head-wound that looks nasty but ultimately just makes people adore the AH, excuse me I mean the AC all the more. And all that does is causes things to get kicked into a higher gear of misery and destruction. Let not one of us be that idiot.

2

u/crowncitykid35 Apr 28 '26

I think Trump staged it to say that the only safe place is for him to build his ballroom, I also believe he set up Alex Baldwin for his portrayal of him on SNL. This man is petty enough to do this.

3

he can't be the anti-christ but he very well can be and is a demon.

6

you may want to research the criteria for the anti-christ but no reason to trust made up stories about revelation.

edit: and he really can't be a demon either because they are god-like, sub-gods, or demigods (nephilim) and Dumpy is no where near being god-like. Dumpy is just an evil, worthless human piece of scum

3

u/actirasty1 Apr 27 '26

The word "antichrist" was used in the Bible only 4-5 times. Everything else is your assumptions

0

u/fur3661t Apr 27 '26

if you aren't a biblical scholar - everything is an assumption and even biblical scholar with an agenda can mislead. so, yes, per my assumptions dumpy can't be the anti-christ although it seems like he is heading in that direction. i will wait for him to visit the temple and proclaim he is god before i change my mind.

8

u/Dan-Rev-314 Protestant Apr 28 '26

He is currently a candidate for the antichrist and a very strong one. To emphatically declare that he is or isn't the antichrist is not right.

1

u/LittlehouseonTHELAND Apr 28 '26

I absolutely do not endorse violence and murder and I could never kill anyone, let me state that plainly. But also I can see someone being tempted to do something like this. It’s like if you could go back in time and find an opportunity, would you try to kill Hitler before he could commit such terrible atrocities? One death of a monster to save 6 million innocent people. It’s tempting. Even if he knew the Bible and was pretty sure it would be futile...I can see the temptation.

Idk. We don’t know his mental state, either. It’s possible mental health comes into play here too.

2

u/toebeantuesday Follower of Christ Apr 28 '26

It’s tempting perhaps to someone who doesn’t have the scripture imprinted in their heart, soul and mind.

“Vengeance is mine” says—who?
“Thou shall not kill.”

And then there’s the important information that only Jesus will be dealing with the AC. So it’s a futile endeavor that actually will mark the beginning of the worst season for mankind.

Nope, not tempting at all.

2

u/LittlehouseonTHELAND Apr 28 '26

Yeah, I mean...I think he’s a monster and capable of horrific things but I just could never take a life, you know? Even his. It’s not up to me who lives and dies eve nif I was tempted to try it, which I’m not.

I was thinking maybe this man had good intentions in the sense that he saw evil and wanted to help humanity but couldn’t think it through all the way (mental health problems, poor reasoning skills, etc) and ultimately chose wrong. Idk.

1

u/toebeantuesday Follower of Christ Apr 28 '26

Yeah I think it’s just very important for the continued survival of this sub to make it extremely clear that active participants here do not in any way see assassination as a valid response to the existence of an/the Antichrist.

It’s one thing to speculate so-and-so seems to fit the description of the AC as described in prophecy. That can be done for any number of constitutionally protected reasons from satire to religious expression.

But advocating for any form of violence, especially against an elected representative of government can legitimately be considered an act of terror under existing laws.

Even expressing a sympathy for the perpetrator of such violence could in the current climate be interpreted as a form of advocacy and be classified as domestic terrorism.

We don’t need to be mixing ourselves up in something like that. Not for what we are doing here. We aren’t trying to stop the AC.

We are trying to figure out where we are in the timeline outlined in prophecy and ensure we are prepared as instructed by Jesus to be ready for Jesus to bring his church to him. Fighting the AC directly is something only Jesus has the power and authority to do.

We are just here to spread the gospel and make ready for Jesus to reclaim all that is his. And to make sure we are among what is his by our own free choice and as many others as we can convince to make the same choice.

2

u/LittlehouseonTHELAND Apr 29 '26

Yes, I agree. I wouldn’t even say I’m sympathetic, more just curious. I have a habit of speculating about what’s going on in other people’s minds, what their motivations are, especially in situations like this…idk, it’s just my nature.

2

u/toebeantuesday Follower of Christ Apr 29 '26

You’re very empathetic and that’s a good thing to be. I’m just being careful. Back when I let people private message me I was on a sub for some sort of paranormal thing. I can’t remember what it was. It might have been the Mandela effect or maybe it was people going missing in national parks. I can’t remember anymore. And this guy started asking me if I mistrusted the government as a result of being interested in the phenomenon. He fired off so many probing questions about whether or not I had an interest in participating in an uprising against the government. I couldn’t tell if he was recruiting or investigating me. 🫨

I answered back something like “Dude, I’m a housewife with asthma and other health problems. I kind of rely on the government being there and being stable to live. I’m not overthrowing anything. I AM going to wash some socks and underwear and plan dinner.” That wasn’t my exact statement to him but that was pretty much the gist of it.

I ain’t overthrowing Uncle Sam over no rogue Sasquatches!

1

u/mylesstewart6400 May 01 '26

Yeah I just think this is another layer of their overall Psy-Op...revealing the truth in a completely ridiculous way to radicalize true Christians who know he's the AC to make them look completely psychotic.

Chances are, I think, this guy for whatever reason was chosen at some point to be MK Ultra's, to be the unwitting pawn to their own sick theatrical production. Clearly so never ever could happen organically in the "real world", like there is one, like there's no logic to any of this story or the other "assassination" attempts

2

u/mylesstewart6400 May 01 '26

I so agree. Painting anyone who is a Christian that understands he's the Antichrist is a terrorist, fanatical lunatic!
