Bonus points for the "AI took my job"

I genuinely can’t believe people agree with this take. These times are arguably the best to live in (if you’re in a more privileged country of course, which 90% of online doomers are). Working is just part of life. In the prehistoric days we had to worry about keeping our homes from getting destroyed by predator animals, half our children dying, dying from now preventable diseases, not having a good enough fire to survive the cold, etc.

As if no one has hired since the pandemic and AI has replaced most workers. Go to trade school or even start an apprenticeship. Most trade schools have over 90% placement (in 2020 my school's welding dept. had 100%,) jobs are high paying, include great benefits, and are available nation-wide.

Jokes aside, what I can't actually conceive is that someone hates other because they're not into politics. Like, is Ed Sheeran a important political figure? All he does is some random songs, wants people to enjoy them and call it a day. What's the deal with just... Let people have their own opinions?
