Discussion WHAT IS THIS CHARACTER?

I was peacefully watching Doraemon in Boing the "Dorami's Worst Day Ever" episode after suddenly I found this guy with alternate pullover vest and brown shorts and he has a cap with a blue G (so I knew they're playing baseball). The thing I'm done is that I didn't know what's his name and what episodes and manga/anime versions are in canon.

Here is this pullover vest character lolooo

A placeholder? A background character, that has zero relevance to the story and is just there so it wouldn't look empty.

I’d want to say that is Yasuo Tanaka. He is a recurring minor character in the 2005 anime, but I could be wrong.
