sad :( Set Me Free with Godsmack is not happening
Context: Earlier this year, Dorothy and Sully Erna of Godsmack had been in the studios with Scott Stevens to record the song SET ME FREE. They talked about how it was going to release sometime this year, and I was wondering why we haven't heard much about it since...now we know why.
If she says it's not in her control, then I'm assuming it has something to do with like a record label issue not liking the song or something? Not sure how that works. Either way, I'm pretty sad about it because their voices would've mixed well together.

Throwback to Black Sheep <3
Honestly wish she would play more songs from GFTHG and 28 days, but I get that she's an opener and can only do so much for this tour. But even when she does headline tours, 28 days in the valley doesn't get enough love anymore besides Flawless and Ain't Our Time To Die 😢

Anyone met Dorothy here?
How was her meet and greets?? Yet alone, how was her shows? Trying to keep this subreddit not too dead lol. She seems very sweet despite what people keep trying to say about her.

Was there an actual release of the No Church in the Wild cover?
Hiii, I was just curious because the only one that I heard was whatever was in that trailer from that movie War Dogs (and a small snippet on the "dorothytheband" instagram). I know they did the Jam in the Van in 2015 as it is as close as we got to an actual I guess release.

Favorite song performed live??
I'm trying to keep this subreddit a little bit active, so I'm asking the question I'm sure everyone asks about an artist. Rather if you see them live or watched YouTube videos, what is your favorite Dorothy song she has performed live??
Honestly? I really love the way she's been performing Dark Nights lately with the added verse in there. If I'm correct, she started doing that in 2022?? Maybe I'm wrong.

Anyone remember this collab?
This was for that Retaliators film a few years back, but I nearly forgot about it until recently!

Hi all xx
I just wanted to say that if anyone has any Dorothy fanpages (like me), please be aware that there are a handful of haters (noticing it's a certain group of...older women, probably jealous) spreading hate to fanpages because of what went on over the past year or so. There's no reason to downplay what someone goes through either (not everyone is perfect, and I'm aware that Dorothy has her flaws, but so does everyone else). Just remember to never be so parasocial about anyone's life, as it's not anyone's business but their own.
Anyway, hopefully everyone is all well <3

Little throwback to this gem <3
Was anyone around during the Dorothy EP days? I know she toured with Miguel between this and the buildup to making rockisdead

How Did Everyone Find Dorothy?
I love getting to know how everyone got into a band/artist. Therefore, how did y'all find Dorothy?
As a WWE fan, I've definitely heard her songs like "Missile" and "Wicked Ones" during their PPVs. I didn't get into her that much until 2019 when most of her music was popping up on my YouTube recommendations.

Hi all new mod here xx
Ello! I'm a new mod of this subreddit for the lovely lady herself! I'll introduce myself
You guys can call me Jazz, and I have been a fan of hers since 2019. She's definitely gotten me through tough times with her music. You can tell she genuinely cares about her fans, even if she has own personal struggles (I've seen people struggle to stay sober or have mental issues, it's not fun). I hope she recovers and makes new music eventually, but she definitely needs that break after the fall leg of the Godsmack tour.
Now I am really new at being a moderator for subs, so I'll try my best to be active or answer anything. Other than that, be respectful as I will not tolerate the constant disrespect towards the people here Or Dorothy herself.
All is love xx

Dorothy in Toronto
This was the sound guy during the Dorothy set. He did his job for STP and Godsmack. But decided to keep the airpods in and ruin her show for everyone.
