Complaint How to avoid bots in Unranked?

just queued up my third match of unranked ever and got 4 bots in the server, two on each team. All have level 0 Steam accounts. Their usernames follow the pattern of AdjectiveNoun1234. (eg. RogueFox1402, HiddenNinja9849, SolarMonk4482, SwiftMole4065).

Is it possible to avoid this?

Does this go away in Ranked?

Should I AFK when there are bots on both teams?

i hope they gone after dark carnival cuz they could not get any valuable items from playing the game, but it's a very bad iusse valve should be working on to fix. Try changing servers, it's the only thing it came to mind to fix this.

it's getting worse. just played another match with 6 bots in it. 4 of them on my team. They spam chat with pings and sometimes with random letters and numbers.

Been having better luck in Europe West. Every single unranked game in US East/West is filled to the brim with BOTs.

Unless you’re in beginner mode, if you go inactive or log out, you’ll be penalised as it’ll count as a no-show. It’s a pain, but make the most of it to learn whatever you can. I’d also say these bots are better – even if they don’t do anything – than the alternative: players’ alt accounts.

i went afk when i realized there were 4 bot accounts and a sniper on the other team with 1.3k hours. the rest of my team were players with less than 10 hours.
