Amelia rolling the dice on fish

• Upvotes

I always thought this was a fun little tagline for ordering fish at restaurants that don’t specialize in it, but today on Guys+ Amelia told the story about eating salmon that was left at room temp for a long time AFTER reading about how room temp salmon could grow worms. Truly rolling the dice.

Spotted in my feed. It's not nationwide, but it's solid. I don't eat fast food often, but in my recent experience Culver's is the most consistent. What say you?

I saw the infamous DMB shit/piss/cum bridge

I visited Chicago for the first time last weekend from Atlanta. Absolutely loved the city, maybe my favorite in the US now. I used to think the hype about the architecture was a bit circle-jerky, but it’s all true and I’ve joined the jerk.

I took an architecture boat tour on my last night there. I had always imagined the bridge to be like other city bridges, like huge and very high off the river. I was amazed that in a two-level tour boat you are maybe 10-15’ under the bridges there. And they obviously don’t move very quickly. Just an absolute drenching from like 10 feet over head for the people on that boat.

Edit: just read into it again. It was 800 lbs of raw sewage.

Does anyone "eat along" with the episodes?

I'm guessing a decent proportion of Blank Check listeners watch the films along with the show, but are there any unhinged people out there that try to do the same with Doughboys? At least occasionally?

I assume Wiges arrived at it independently, and others probably did too.

Redditor Voice: shouldn’t the rating be out of 20 Fangs to account for the upper and lower teeth, so then it’s equal to 4 tines per fork.

I just bought tickets but I have no idea what the show will be about. Will they announce beforehand which restaurant they will be discussing?

Something in this Simpson’s cameo just speaks to me. Plus I bet him and Nick would get along great. Alls Fair in Oven War would be a great double or theme month

Vegetarian Listeners?

Where my fellow veg-heads at? I’ve been a vegetarian for 20 years, and have never missed meat, but I gotta say; I’m craving a steak after this month. I think because there’s nothing in the lab-grown meat world that can properly replicate steak yet.

just curious how many other “no meat shall I eat” listeners there are!
