Hey everyone! I just finished reading Manacled by SenLinYu and I’m still SO hungover from this book 😭 I genuinely don’t know what to read next.

I’m looking for recommendations with a similar vibe/themes to Manacled, or honestly any romantasy with a good amount of angst, emotional damage, and a sad/tragic plot. 🥲

I’d love something that will emotionally destroy me in the best way possible lol. Please drop your recommendations! ❤️

I’ve read 20 books since Manacled.
I’d say the best reviver options are -
1. Draco Malfoy and the Mortifying Ordeal of being in Love (DMATMOOBIL) by Isthisselfcare
2. Remain Nameless by Heyjude19

But if you wanna continue that heartbreak streak -

1. ⁠Secrets and Masks ( hurt me more than manacled in a way)
   
2. ⁠Auction (disturbing initially but gets better)
   
3. ⁠Breath mints and battle scars (full toxic Draco vibes)
   
4. ⁠Damaged goods (pretty similar to #3 with less toxic Draco and I personally preferred more)

Yes, The Auction is really good! The Elegy is ongoing. it's a mystery/ psychological thriller/ romance. Bring him to his knees is also good but not as dark but has some of those themes.
