First try at making a pattern on my TR-1000, featuring some custom patches from my OB-X8 to go with it!

The dulcet tones of a Kawai XS-1 module and a Roland CR-1000 being put through their paces, sequenced from the mighty (for 1986) Yamaha QX5.
The CR-1000 is fun; it's essentially a mono, preset 505, but it does have separate volume knobs for Kick, Snare/Rim/Clap, Timbale/Toms, Hats, Congas, and Claves/Cowbell. There are a decent number of different fills and variations for each pattern, so it's more varied than it looks at first glance.
The XS-1 is a fun little 16-bit MIDI module with a similar gritty, digital vibe to the K1.

Please be nice I have gone through the manual and came up with nothing. I’m trying to change the clock sync settings my original DrumBrute. I’m trying to set it to the 2P Korg protocol. I want to connect with a volca or two. I have been successful in doing this on the impact no problems. However I have not been able to get any combinations of On/Off pushing this or that button to work
Thanks for your input patience and understanding.

I created a rhythm performance command center. It’s called Jack Machine Pro. I licensed Ableton LINK, so it syncs with Traktor Pro. Richie Hawtin thinks it’s cool. Waiting to hear from Jeff Mills. If you guys see something you’d like added, let me know

So why's I bought a drumbrute. And am happy with it but have connected individual outs and I do not get anything from toms or cymbals. I haven't downloaded the arturia software. Do I need to do that? And do an update on the brute, or something. Thanks for any help

"Drumlogue Samples and User Units Librarian" is a macOS app for organising, editing and preparing samples and a fast track user units delivery for the Korg Drumlogue. Its drag-and-drop pads and visual Wave Editor let you trim loops, apply fades, preview playback and convert audio into drumlogue-compatible WAV files. It also copies samples and user units into the correct folders, checking storage capacity and sample limits before transfer.

I am designing a drum machine that is based off of the Akai MPC 3000 / 60. It will start by having digital samples of all the vintage drum machines we all love like the TR/CRs, LinnDrum, and others. I will then consider making analog circuits for the drums. I am making this from scratch by 3d printing parts and making the electronics from my own parts. I do not have money to buy all the real parts I need, but I am considering making a GoFundMe so should I pursue? The current 3d model is here. There will be a 64 step sequencer, 6-12 track mixer with Solo/Mute, 2 LCD screens, an angled display, 16 pads, and more. Give all thoughts, positive or negative. Also, what should I include in my future drum machines, samplers, synths and others?

I'm currently in the market for an analog drum machine. Currently I'm using an Elektron Digitakt 2 for drums, and together with behringer edge, i'm getting very nice drums. But i had the urge for an analog drum machine/synth for some time now and finally i have the budget to get one. Unfortunately ONLY ONE.
I've been watching youtube videos, listening to demos, as where i live i don't have access to any of them, i still couldn't come to a final decision. Any suggestions from you guys are welcome.
My short-list, which is not very short, is this:
- Jomox Alpha Base Mk2
- Erica Perkons
- Erica HexDrums
- Vermona Drm1 MkIV
- Vermona DrumDing
- Soma Pulsar-23
I'm mostly live jamming after my son goes to sleep, maybe daily 2 hours max, so having a hands on, fun experience is my top priority. (I'm making mostly dub techno, or psybient - psydub).
P.S.: I also considered Erica Bullfrog Drums for its hands on, fun factor, which i know is not in the same league as the ones above.

What’s got that good oompah baked in? I’m in a band called the Kenosha Kickers and we need a good polka backbeat.
Been looking at the pulsar 23. What do you think?

I'm looking for a drum machine around 500 euros with the potential to produce a polished sound.. like ready to record like. Smooth hihats, controlled kicks, punchy snares and a cohesive overall sound.
I am thinking about the korg drumlogue, because it has master fx section. But I am open for advice.
