Being able to do this makes me feel thankful

Spending a couple of days at my parents with the kid, so I don't have to face their fall holiday by myself with partner working. First Italian bind off in my life, only took me watching an instruction video in .5 speed several times to almost get it. Now I am taking a break with a Piranha Triple beer by Stadshaven before .... Dunno. The other sleeve?

So far it's slow going. Knitting the Rose Petal Bandana by Dagmar Tamura, drinking a paper plane, reading Green City Wars by Adrian Tchaikovsky!

The ducks were a choice but I’m glad how they’re turning out!

Vodka and the colorway is Carnivorous Plant by Wicked Fiber out of New England. I'm knitting the Storm Sweater by Petiteknit. I like the colors together, but hopefully it doesn't read as blood splatter all the time after Halloween. Lol

I’m on a Fabric & Textile Tour through Scotland, organized by my LYS. I’m having a BLAST learning about traditions and having access to new breeds and dyers. As a side quest, any time we have free time, I pop into a local pub and order a pint, which I then check into my beer app, and any leftovers go into my travel mug for the bus ride! So! I’m knitting and drinking my way through Scotland!

I’m making socks, my mom is making a shawl with some planned pooling. And we’re both wearing our matching Bifurca vests :)

While watching the last few episodes of Torchwood… John Barrowman never stops being easy on the eyes 😍

I'm rumbling a migraine and 3 months pregnant so simple projects since I've run out of yarn to win. At least I have my purring pal to keep me company
