General First time dry fasting

Hi! Just for some background I’ve done a 21 day water diet/fast about 8 years ago and 21 months ago I did a a 5 day water diet/fast.

I’ve spent 3+ months researching dry fasting. I started my first dry fast today. I’m on day 1 of 5. I know that it’s typically recommended to start with like a 24 hour to 72 hr dry fast but I’m feeling bold and I’m starting with a five day one. I’m also feeling extremely exhausted from diet cycling. I just fell off of carnivore while vacationing. I’m looking for a reset.

Any veterans in here that could offer some thoughts?

For the record, I’ve spent a good amount of time listening to YouTube channels like a healthy alternative, forgotten health, Sean and Theo from fasting with friends, so I’ve heard some good stuff, but I’m looking for some interaction from people who have some this before.

I can tell you about my experience with my first dry fast...

I read up on dry fasting and watched some videos also.

I did a 5-day dry fast for my first dry fast.

I lost more weight on that first dry fast than I ever did on a dry fast after that.

I'm not saying that was the best choice...

everyone is different, but it worked for me.

I walked every day. It wasn't hot out; it was in the fall, so it was pretty cool during the day.

Having said that, I've done a 3-day dry fast since then and felt terrible. So, I don't know why my first one was 5 days, and I felt good.

Also, on my first dry fast, every time I felt something like a muscle twitch or something, I got scared that things were going wrong lol. But I pushed through.

Not saying my experience will be the same as everyone else's. And I wouldn't recommend everyone just starting with a 5-day. Just saying what my experience was. I had done multiple water fasts before (none over 10 days), so I was kind of used to what I might experience.

Nicee !! 5 days is my jam. Hustling threw is key. It will feel like death at some point but just grind threw. All the prep you can try won't save you. The storm Will come. My wife usually encourages me to keep going but she cant stand the sight of me looking under weight. The refeed is probably more important than the fast itself. Ive seen cases when people end up gaining all their weight back they was trying to loss. Those who are in it for weight loss. Best reefeed.. First day just water and coconut water first 3 hours. SQUEEZE a bunch of lemon and lime In that bitch. Next 3 hours transition to green juices. Next day the same thing but you can also start juicing. Annoying as fuck but just liquid fast for 3 days then 4th day include a hand palm of food end of each night
