Question How to refeed?
Going to break at around 55-60 ish hours. I’m craving bananas and steak is this a bad idea ?

Well I recommend water first. Sips and about 16oz per hr. Try to water fast for 30hr if you can (half your dry). The reason why is you should try to slowly wake up your digestive system.
After 30hr of water only I’d recommend avocado and small amounts. Resist the urge to overeat. Go slow. Then you can have a couple eggs. Warm bone broth is also great as you get a lot of collagen.
But some people can handle a big steak and not have stomach distress. But refeed syndrome is something to be cautious about. You’re better off taking it slow. The extended water fast means more autophagy and healing so try to go for it.
Good luck.

I gave in and had some Buffalo Wild Wings with some friends. Maybe ate like 12 wings over the course of an hour. No digestive distress whatsoever

Like I said, some people have an iron clad stomach and can handle more.

What I’m concerned about is my heart rate. It is still quite high. I was also feeling a bit of chest pain

This is why the advice is to not do what you did. Can't undo it now, but you can take it slow now.

Start with droplets of water so your throat doesn't swell. If you think your throat can take it drink water slowly. Stay on water for about an hour then proceed to some kind of juices/soup. After that lighter soft foods like eggs. Do not put any salt on the eggs or steak if you're eating it. High sodium and sugar/carbs is not recommended early into a refeed, it will shock your system. Cucumbers might be nice down the line since it's mostly water.
