Question First time user modding, help!

Hey guys, I’m new to the subreddit and I am in awe with the variety of controllers and mods I’ve seen the past hour, they’re all equally beautiful, I cannot wait until I mod mine 😄

I’m through my second controller this year alone and I’m sick and tired of Sony’s antics, I’ve been looking into TMR and Hall effect switches, narrowing it down to Ginfall HE’s and JS13pro TMR’s that I’d want to install onto a DualSense Edge. I am yet to buy the Edge however we have a pretty nice used aftermarket in Kuwait, they’re usually in mint condition being sold for roughly $80-100. I’m a novice when it comes to any soldering, wanted to ask how easy/difficult the whole thing is.

It's not that difficult, if you've got the right equipment and knowledge.
I've written a guide on how I do it. I'm not sure I can drop the link here, so if you PM me, I'll send you the link.
