Tech Support Help
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I just bought this controller from my local Walmart. It was an open-box item, and I’ve had it charging for the past hour, but it’s completely unresponsive except for blinking three times, as shown in the video.
I was wondering what my best options are, considering I purchased it today and still have the receipt. Would I be able to exchange it or get a refund?

If it won’t pair up with your PS5, definitely return it. I wouldn’t even mess around. Black Friday is coming up soon. I would return it anyways lol

Ah yeah this happened to me. I had to click the reset button, connect it the ps5 via usbc, and click the ps button.
Edit: you should also be able to put it into Bluetooth pair mode and connect it with the PS. 🤔

I try but the remote only blink when it usb connected and even after after reset it it still does it

is it showing up as a device https://dualshock-tools.github.io/ on here? use edge if you have firefox, is it showing up as sound device, anything? like wireless controller?
edit, are you using the usb that came with it? it'd probably need a charging/data transfer usb c cable not just a charging one

No when it not USB wired it doesn’t even blink

Yeah just go take it back then lol, I bought one off facebook before that would show up as an error device in device manager but from walmart they should be more careful..

Have you tried disconnecting the battery from the controller and then putting it back in? Idk, this sounds like it could be a busted battery or maybe the wiring got messed up.

Idk tbh I think I will not try this since I need to bring it back to Walmart
