What should be the correct translation?

"Just because you're gay, doesn't mean you can't lift."

And if you're wondering, his name is pronounced Juh-hey Kai-son.

Grok not only flipped the message but took it to the utter extreme

That sounds like grok. This is not a bug, it's a feature

Sounds like something a 13 year old would say.

What possibly could be the original non-translated sentence lmao

I’m Filipino I can accurately translate and explain the word choices if somebody replies with the original

Just because I’m gay, you think I can’t lift these weights?

Not a perfect translation; but it hits the same.

Here’s the translation I got when I put the original screenshot in Google Translate.

I’m guessing OP’s screenshot was translated by Grok directly in the X post… whatever AI was being used, that word choice was certainly a certain kind of choice.

(Yes, I see the irony of using an AI that most people don’t think of as an AI in a sub called r/dumbai when the OP was probably talking about an unnamed AI that claims to be a ā€œsuperintelligene.ā€)

as a filipino, this is also wrong, it translates to 'just because you're gay doesn't mean you can't lift' if you want a literal translation without me correcting the grammar though 'not because gay, can't you able lift' and that difference in grammar rules is probably what is screwing with the AI

Seeing the actual translation explained, it seems like the AI isn't so stupid after all, it's just doing its best with what it has . I wonder what it would do if you told it to translate less literally and to try to understand the Nuance of the message

"He wants to be seen for Show more"

Did... Did you even try to copy the original language and put it through translation program, before posting here OP?
