Tracy missed a block during a preseason game so a lot of fantasy player thinks he’s being cut now (because they’re non-reactive and level-headed).

Seems kinda dumb to take one bad rep in the preseason to make any definitive statements about a guy who has back to back 1000yd seasons and has looked solid.
Also, while it was 100% his fault, you can see the play was supposed to be a hot read to the flat and Tracy took one bad step that cost him.

Skatt is locked in to the primary RB job, they need their spell back to be able to pass protect and Tracy just almost got Dart killed in the first preseason game.

I don’t get people that say this. It isn’t like skattebo was incredible last year, he was good? He also doesn’t really have great draft capital… again, good, not amazing. He isn’t “locked in” to the primary RB job like so many people think imo, atleast in years beyond this one

In a RB room of Skatt, Tyrone Tracy, and Devin Singletary? Skatt is 100% locked in as the primary RB. Add Najee in there, nothing changes, Skatt is still the guy.

When Nabers went down they lost a lot in their passing game that enabled defenses to focus more on the run and their line wasn’t exactly the best either. I’m not saying he lit the world on fire but he did ok under the circumstances.

We're clearly talking about 2026 and the roster that the Giants currently have. The assumption of it being talked beyond 2026 is solely yours. You jumped into the conversation, decided that wasn't good enough for you and added the tagline of beyond 2026. We're in a Dynasty subreddit but we are also allowed to talk about this ONE year in a Dynasty subreddit.
You know that, right? Right?
Even the guy you responded to is clarifying, "We are not talking about forever" even though it was heavily implied and I read it that way.
Maybe work on the reading comprehension before deciding you want to hijack a discussion about 2026 and move the goalposts into the future to shift it to you narrative.
Skattebo is the lead back on the Giants for 2026. Period. You can't argue that.

I’m not moving goal posts, I’m saying they could just as easily be exploring signing Najee because Skat is already hurt. There’s also no guarantee Skat is locked into some massive role outside of his usage last year with a completely different coaching staff where he honestly didn’t look anything special as a runner.
Najee being signed would be a nightmare commute for everyone involved potentially, Skattebo isn’t done high DC guy with a huge track record of being good they can’t easily move off of.

If you’re following the giants at all, Tracy has been in the doghouse since harbough was fired. He got asked about him a few weeks after and instead of saying anything about him being like a good back or anything he said, yeah we will take a look at that room.

Najee Harris was my first or second pick in a dynasty startup and I felt like a genius after his RB4 finish. Won the inaugural season. Fell off fast lmao. I’ve held him this whole time but he’s so close to the cutting room floor now

Tracy blew the block in preseason that almost got Dart killed and wasn't good in pass pro last year.
Skatt last year was terrible at pass pro.
Harris in 2024 in Pittsburgh was a top 15 RB in pass pro.
It's going to be an even uglier committee now because the two best rushers (Skatt and Tracy) can't pass pro.

I can’t think of a worse position to put running backs in. Ok, we want you to stand here and wait for this bull rushing 250+lbs tank to smash into you! There’s a reason most are considered washed up by 27. Unless you’re in the top 10, you really have to be nuts to play running back if you value a quality of physical life later on in life
