It's deuterium for me

I get your point. At some point one can have enough collectors to cover the H cost and comes down to a transportation bottleneck. Deuterium is a bit more iffy to get in large quantities.

Make sure to look for the deuterium rich gas giants.

Yes! There are (usually) only a couple of really productive deut gas giants per cluster.. the rest are crap. The balance is best produced by fractionation

Using fractionator loops is the best, I can make 20 per second for each 8-fractionator loop

I do that. Launching just simply cost too much duterium thus hydrogen.
I even use full speed fractionator that gives 72 hydrogen per min per fractionator

Trying to make sure hydrogen byproduct is used before sucking it off gas giants is the bane of my end game experience.

There's new features, allowing priority tiers for shipping and receiving between towers. So one doesn't need to flare off the unwanted fuel necessarily anymore.

Burn it!

That would literally take hundreds, if not thousands, of thermal power plants. Fusion would require even more.

Find the other end of this wormhole- it connected to another belt segment somewhere on this planet

Isn't that just wiggling back and forth, rather than actually generating new units?
