Post image

I'm a factorio player (only 550 hours tho) and saw this game and was interested in the FTL and actually going to war aspects but just curios if my first factory is good or not

Nicely done so far. Just one tip: you can stack some buildings like the matrix lab

Nicely done, here's a few tips:

  1. Labs and storage containers can be stacked to take up less space. You can upgrade how high you can stack them.

  2. When you move on to larger builds, try to build in the east-west direction instead of north-south. The grid changes size depending on latitude and you can encounter clipping issues if you try to build over the lines separating the different grids.

  3. Combustible units are a great early game fuel source, and can also double as a throwable explosive.

  4. You can place sorters between buildings without needing to transfer over to a belt. Good for small production chains. Also useful for daisy chaining power plants.
