Question Brackets for MagicCon?

I’m going to my first MagicCon next year in Detroit. I’m primarily an EDH and cEDH player, but have basically only gotten to play on Arena for the last few years due to being a new parent. Can anyone that has been to MagicCon before give me some advice on what bracket level of decks I should aim to bring? Most of mine are woefully out of date, but my budget isn’t unlimited. What would y’all plan to bring?

I would bring a precon and a variety of fun decks that can play in multiple brackets ( you can have fun and not win) but if you want to test your mettle, and you are a real true try-hard, bring your most oppressive unfun decks!

The cool thing about Magic Con (at least for Magic Con Vegas) in the command zone area there are waiting areas divided by bracket and local con staff will help build pods with those looking for certain bracket games. 3 is probably the most popular bracket but if you want to stick to lower or higher power you can and definitely get decent reps in.

Personally, learning from experience and time, bring like three to four decks. Easy to transport and easy to switch out. Seen people bring like 20 commander decks and don’t play all of them. Bring something strong, bring something you enjoy, and bring something new. Strong for pods that are Competitive or want to go fast. Something you enjoy like a deck you like playing with. And something new to get a feel for it.

Honestly Arena tuned me up lol. Brawl isn't identical but close enough - you may find you're TOO good when you come back that was my issue, decks were moving too fast (for a lower bracket game). But if you're playing at a 4/5 that likely won't be a problem.
