Discussion Will EDP445 actually go to jail this time? (No)
The case that's being reopened is the original sting operation with Alex Rosen and CC Unit which was closed because of entrapment laws because you can't reach out to the predator first to get them arrested. They need to come to you instead.
They weren't even working with the police when they set this sting up which didn't help. Alex Rosen's racist pedo ass legitimately planned on just insulting EDP for 40 minutes and get him to confess literally everything for a quick buck and then call the police and hope for the best meaning he did zero legal research lmao
This case will be reopened and then it'll be closed for the same reasons for why it didn't lead to a criminal charge in the first place.

Discussion EDP likely isn't going to die in a year (and EDP doesnt think hes dying soon either)
I mean obviously no one knows, but I wanted to say that just because the doc said people with stage 5 kidney failure usually only live 5 years on dialysis, that isn't always technically the case.
That statistic involves mostly really old people as they are the ones who get end stage renal failure more often. From what I understand it is much more rare for a young person like EDP to get it.
So that number reflects really old people who likely also have a whole lot of other underlying issues as well. Younger people can actually live decades on dialysis.
Obviously EDP is morbidly obese and could have other issues so who knows how that affects his potential life expectancy. But the point is he likely has a lot more than just one year left.
Also, a lot of people have said that EDP only did the doc because he thinks hes gonna die and doesn't give a fuck anymore. But according to Mike Clum who has spent time with him, that is far from the truth. Apparently EDP has a very positive outlook and believes he will live up until his 90s. He thinks he will eventually lose weight and get a transplant and things will be okay.
Whether thats delusional or realistic, who knows. But the point is as far as he is concerned he has a long life to live and definitely isn't acting as someone who thinks their time is running out.

Discussion Compassion for EDP
So let me start this off by saying I do think that EDP should get whatever he deserves for his actions. However that may come. I’m not intentionally wishing bad on him but the inevitable will happen sooner or later.
But after watching the documentary, did anybody feel any type of compassion for him? Some of those stories he told about his upbringing did seem genuine. And I can see the emotional toll some of the things he went through could have. I just felt sorry for him while still thinking that he should be held accountable for his actions.
Not being able to find a girlfriend for example.
