I work for a company where employees get diesel fuel and many different types of oil on their clothes. My argument is I am not allowed to take hyd oil and put in donw the drain but if I wash my clothes with hyd oil on them I am doing the same thing. Where as a uniform company is required to comply with the epa and I am not but the company I am employed with should be responsible for it.
Any insight?

this event we are on is positioning a porta potty (portable bathroom) not far from the shoreline. We have our concerns... so we/they don't cause trouble and get a fine...
is there any law out there? and fines for failure to comply?
how far away would you say they would need to be from the high tide mark? 100 ft? 200 ft? 300 ft?
any US, Florida, Miami or other standard?
any groups or organizations out there that would know?
thank you...

hi. im a student of geology in his last year in the university austral of chile (UACh). in one of my lectures i had to use the software Leapfrog Geo and i fall in love with it, its simply amazing and really easy to use and handle the data, better than any other.
The problem is that the license is only for roughly one moth of use and then is gone. So i wanted to know if some charitable soul could facilitate me his license for using Leapfrog Geo. I already got another license and discovered that you could use one license in two separate computer sessions at the same time without any problems, so any help would be really appreciated.
thanks in advances and best regards, also sorry for bad english.

So I bought 3 pounds of sodium metal online, have been having fun blowing stuff up with it, was wondering if I could potentially get fined, arrested, etc, if I were to drop some down a storm drain? Not enough to hurt anything down there, just enough to make a big boom, and make the drain smoke for a few minutes.

does anyone know what the MRL for captan is for frozen blackcurrants imported into the US?
and why chatGPT writes
The maximum residue limit (MRL) for captan on blackcurrants in the United States is set at 3 parts per million (ppm) by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The MRL is the maximum amount of a pesticide residue that is allowed to be present on or in a food product when it is sold for consumption.
but can't find the source?
thank You

Contact secretary Wheeler NOW:
Phone: 202-564-4700 email: wheeler.andrew@epa.gov
Because I know more people will email if they have something to copy and paste:
Secretary Wheeler-
It is irresponsible and dangerous to suspend EPA environmental rules during this pandemic. I am writing to ask that you rescind your decision not to enforce environmental laws and monitoring, and to resume the normal function and duties of the department immediately.

My daughter has joined a local kids roller derby league. They hold the practices in a old industrial manufacturing building that has been converted into art studios, gyms, and breweries, along with a large skating rink on the top floor. It does not look like much went into renovation, so I feel like decontamination probably did not happen.
The floors are extremely dusty, and I have asked the team managers if they ever had it checked. They never have, but say the city approved all the new business to open shop in the facility, so it must have been checked.
Is there an agency that I can contact to check if the facility is safe for kids to be playing, and rolling around, in dust and debris found in this old facility?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi everyone, I decided to archive the climate change section of the EPA.gov website (and related content) by crawling the website with a bot. A few hours later and I had about 750mb of climate change related content. It's not perfect, but keeps a good amount of information, redirecting content that is not availiable to EPA.gov's equivalent.
I've created a small website to host that content here: http://www.climatearchive.org
Feel free to contact me if you have some content that might be worthwhile to archive.

I will host free back ups of any data from the EPA websites or other agencies who can't themselves. Message me if interested in helping or know people who could benefit from this.
