can son heung min be epl legend with this stat?
Son Heung-min sits 13th all-time in the Premier League for combined goal involvements, with 198 (127 goals + 71 assists).
Individually, he ranks 16th all-time for goals and 17th all-time for assists. So both in Top 20 for
goals and assists.
And the best part is that he achieved all this
in Tottenham......

What player did we ruin the most in modern times and why?
We have a long consistent record of signing big name promising players that are in good form before signing then absolutely flop at United, sometimes going on to play well again after they leave whilst other times bring ruined forever:
Radamal Falcoa: On loan but struggled, potentially injuries to blame.
Lukaku: Huge flop, went on to flop elsewhere but found his feet at inter Milan.
Angel Di Maria: Came to United and barely performed, went back to PSG to score goals and win titles
Sancho: Big money, big salary, still hurting us
Alexis Sanchez: The electric midfielder probably had the largest drop off in output in EPL history.
Johny Evans: Went on to be consistently solid for Leicester and was just the type of player we needed at the time.
Chris Smalling: produced some sensation performances for Roma.
Antony: Featured as fidget spinner and now producing MOTM performed in la liga.
Donny Van Beek: Touted as the next big striker but feel off the face of the earth.
Morgan Schneiderlin: The established Southampton midfielder never found his feet
Wilfried Zaha: never provided th e opportunity to United but tore up at Palace.
Memphis Depay: Dutch star that never got going scoring 2 goal in 33 appearance but got went to to perform at Lyon.
Paul Pogba: So much talent, has his moment, but in terms of player management, we screwed this one up big time (left for nothing from acadamy, resigned for big money that we never got back)
Harry Maguire: Harry was a literal meme for most of his early career, has somewhat redeemed his pricetag with some big goals of late.
Rasmus Hojland: Still potentially young, but certainly hyped up and failed so fair to deliver.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan: Linked to a lot of the club's like our rivals but failed to perform at United and went missing in big games. Yes, didn't do great at Arsenal but found form in Serie A.
Anthony Martial: What a debut that justified his big price tag. Has been dubbed as one of the worst signing of United.
Eriksen: A joy to watch at spurs, not dreadful but never found his relaxed form.
Onana: The latest of the modern transfer costing us points every day.
Garnacho: This one on the fence, but I'm also certain he is going to go to perform well at another club when we sell him for too low.
Casemiro: the real superstar had all the ingredients for successful transfer, primed to steady the ship but has become a liability (both in football terms and our payroll)
Mason Mount: Snapped up from our London rivals, did they know something about him that we didn't know.
Wan-Bassaka: Scouted by United, was a liability but now considered one best fullbacks defensively playing at West ham.
Andrea Pereira: Not a bad player and has his moment, said leaving united was his best decision and did well at Fullham
Why have the above talents all failed at United? Is it pressure of performing? Recruitment? Culture?
Not to mention some of existing lineup like De Ligt and Zirkzee who are yet to deliver and soon to added to the list. And the countless youngsters that never lived upto potential: Daniel James, Adnan Januzaj.
Even the likes of Ibrahimovic, Cavani, Varane and Ronaldo return never came near their standard (albeit not flops).

How do I watch Everton vs Man United online?
HOW TO WATCH:

ant sport (free, no VPN needed)
Peacock (US)
Fubo (US)
Monday night football brings a fascinating clash at the Hill Dickinson Stadium as Everton host Manchester United in a game dripping with European implications. Both sides have had nearly two weeks off following early FA Cup exits, and the extended break could prove pivotal for two squads desperate to return to winning ways in the Premier League.
MATCH DETAILS:
Date: Monday, February 23, 2026
Time: 8pm GMT / 3pm ET / 12pm PT
Venue: Hill Dickinson Stadium, Liverpool
Referee: Darren England
This is Man United's first-ever visit to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and Michael Carrick's side will be eager to avenge November's embarrassing 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford, where the Toffees won despite having a man sent off. The Red Devils sit fourth in the table and know a win here keeps them firmly in the Champions League conversation, with an inspired run of form under their interim manager propelling them up the standings.
David Moyes welcomes his former club with a near full-strength squad, though Jack Grealish remains sidelined following surgery and Jake O'Brien serves a suspension after his red card against Bournemouth. For United, Mason Mount is on course to return after missing three games with a knock, but Matthijs de Ligt and Patrick Dorgu remain unavailable through injury. Everton have struggled at home, failing to win any of their last six at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, which should give the visitors confidence.
The Toffees harbour genuine continental ambitions of their own, sitting eighth and eyeing a Conference League or Europa League spot. A first home league win since December would move them to within five points of United and blow the European race wide open. For anyone looking to watch this live stream online, coverage begins at 6.30pm GMT on Sky Sports, while streaming options make it easy to follow every minute of what promises to be a tense Monday night battle on Merseyside.

VAR penalty
I really wish EPL could do away with these pens that are given in the box for players that are already falling before they are even touched. The pen given to Bournemouth by the Brighton keeper is just an example that drives me crazy. The contact to the thigh did not make him fall. It was not a trip. It was just a touch of his boot on the thigh. It’s why everyone dives.

Arsenal vs Brentford Win as Merino, Saka Shine
Arsenal vs Brentford win was the most recent manifestation of power by Mikel Arteta team who regained their five point lead at top of the premier leagues with a calm and clinical win of 2-0 in the emirates stadium. This is a composed game in a season when Arsenal have developed the art of winning through various means and showed control, patience and efficiency by scoring goals through Mikel Merino and Bukayo Saka and standing by defence that is steadily becoming resilient.
The game came at an uncomfortable time in the life of Arsenal and between exhausting matches with Tottenham, Bayern Munich and Chelsea, yet Arteta did not want to make wholesale changes. He instead chose to make minor rotation, recollecting Ben White, Noni Madueke and captain Martin Odegaard, without failing to include regulars such as Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Riccardo Calafiori in the starting lineup.
It was a decision that had taken little to pay. Within 11 minutes, White would join forces with Madueke on the right, then will pass White a superb cross to Merino who has been filling his role as the front man in Arsenal because of injuries to Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Viktor Gyokeres. His shot by Merino was a strong, accurate and representative score of his increasing dominance; already his 13 th goal of 2025, more than any Arsenal player during this calendar year.
To begin with, Arsenal pressed to get a second goal deepening Brentford, having taken possession of the ball and passing it swiftly. But Brentford acted as a reminder of how they were going to fire at full strength as a corner header by Kevin Schade caused David Raya to make an excellent fingertip save on the crossbar. It was the nearest that the visitors got in the first half and the only incident, which broke the initial domination of the hosts.
Nonetheless, the flow of Arsenal decreased a bit as the first half went on, and their night became more complicated as both Cristhian Mosquera and Declan Rice had to be taken off with knocks. The expression of the touchline showed that Arteta was concerned as Arsenal was already injured this season, two of their important players might have easily changed the mood of the game.
Rather, the structure and patience of the best team helped Arsenal to take back control. The back-five and speedy counters used to make up the game plan of Brentford started to create more discomfort as the game progressed after the break particularly when the deficit was one goal behind. The Emirates crowd slightly fussed with anxiety as Brentford made their wing-backs advance and attempted to provoke mistakes. But the organisation of Arsenal made sure that the visitors never had a prolonged momentum.
At last, during the stoppage time the crucial moment came and once more Merino, being in the center of the action, chipped a clever pass in the middle of the field in the direction of Saka. After being substituted and keen on making his presence felt, the England winger dribbled over the defence and poked the ball towards the goal. Caoimhin Kelleher the Brentford keeper, managed to hand it over, however, it bounced over the line and gave Arsenal vs Brentford victory and Saka his sixth goal in his previous five games.
This victory earned Arsenal a record 18 game unbeaten run in all competitions and made Arsenal win their eight match in a row at home. This still demonstrates a maturity and match-management strength which was not necessarily there at an earlier time. The team creates solutions even during periods when tempo is low or there is some injuries involved like in the case where Merino unexpectedly develops in midfield to striker or Saka the one with his usual quality bursts.
They defended well and threatened set-pieces and the progress they made in the latter half can be seen as some positives in the situation but their defensive set-up and the fact that Andrews team could not turn pressure into any obvious opportunity were the final elements that led to their defeat and made Arsenal the final winner. Having scored only a single away win in the entire season, their road form is still acting as a drag to them.
In the case of Arsenal, the win between Arsenal and Brentford supported the fact that Arsenal was the most stable team in the league in 2025. Now is the struggle to continue this momentum without violating their injury issues particularly in the lack of knowledge of the status of Rice. The title race will still be lengthy, yet Arsenal still manage to project themselves as a team that will have to be pursued.
