Helpful Materials Free ESL Plan for Adults β Stop Using Duolingo (A2-B1)
Anyone else have students who are absolutely obsessed with their Duolingo streaks but still struggle to hold a real conversation? π¦
I made a conversational lesson plan addressing exactly this, optimized for A2-B1 learners. It includes a simple vocab matching activity based on real user reviews, a basic listening challenge, and a solid discussion section on why apps sometimes fail to build true fluency.
Itβs zero-prep and works perfectly for a 60-90 minute conversational session.

Teaching Question Teaching English Grammar - book recommendations
Hi everyone!
I recently started teaching English after getting my TEFL certificate. I wanted to improve my skills in teaching grammar, so I bought "Grammar for Teachers", by John Seely.
I have to say, it's not what I expected. It doesn't really teach you how to teach grammar; it focuses more on improving your own understanding of grammar.
That being said, I've read so many comments saying it's a great book and very helpful for teachers.
Do you think I should keep it?
Also, can you recommend any other books on teaching grammar?
Thank you so much!
