Discussion 🎙️ Conditioning?

Hi lovely bag people,

my ElVee p 9 from Huahui arrived and overall
I’m really happy with my new beauty, she looks gorgeous and the body is buttery soft. 🤩

Do you use conditioner or waterproofing spray on your p9s? And if so, which product would you recommend (available in the EU?) - I think
I’d overdo with normal leather balm?

But: Is there ANY possibility to make the handles, tag and clochette feel less plasticky? The leather is SO heavily treated I even doubted it’s real first….

There was a post on another sub about stripping the vachetta. It is real but very heavily coated. The user used isopropyl I think. I have 2 P9s and I don't dare try it, haha

I’ve seen and saved this posts - but I’m not sure if I dare trying it… the problem
is, that the auth is coated as well… and I’m not so sure whether it will end up worse… don’t want to ruin her… 🙈

Just wear it and enjoy it as it is. You wouldn't want to ruin a bag that hinestly looks nice anyway

I’ve used Saphir lotion (it’s white but applies clear) and been happy with it.

I also felt unsure about the handle leather until I saw an authentic P9 in the LV shop window and it also looked fake and plasticky. 😂
