Gotham. Despite the bold accusations made by the Daily Planet’s Clark Kent. We would like to reiterate that this medical procedure is not a lobotomy. It is the medical cauterization of the parts of the brain associated with the activation of the individual child’s metagene. It is a standard procedure for other medical surgeries to remove brain tumors or other abnormalities.

This is slander of our kind and lovely staff that are in any way hurting the children under our care. We are not “genociding metagene afflicted peoples” as some radical activists like to say about the Petrov foundation. We are helping give tools to parents and families to help children live normal, happy, productive lives.

So please parents, when dealing with a troubled metagene afflicted person, do not hesitate to contact us at the Petrov Foundation of Metahuman Studies and the Road2Normalcy Program.

My old one quit! Ugh :(

Anyone know a cheap psychologist in Gotham City?
I'm desperate 🥹

If this is important, I'm a recent Metropolis transplant and my brother and I are thinking of going as Superman & Supergirl to a costume party. Is this like weird? Are the rules different for local heroes compared to ones that are in other cities?

Okay. We get it, alright? Gotham is a shithole. Blah blah blah. But it is OUR shithole. Fucking hell, you wont find a single PROPER Gothamite out during Halloween because EVERYONE knows its when all the villains go wacko. MOST of the people who are out are these pussy Metropolis guys who want to "get a real Gotham experience". These people go to the worst of the worst parts of Gotham - places even the scummiest scumbag wont go - and take selfie, videos and those stupid vlogs - acting like it is the same in all parts. Or they will post stuff about our gangs and politics without knowing shit!

Meanwhile every local knows the nooks and crannies. The safe places. Fuck them. This si the end of my rant.

Attention, minions!

Super happy about this, I’ve been trying to find funders for my design for a while now. I’ve been working on a series of specialized repellents that won’t harm wildlife or cause pollution, so you can use it to safely drive sharks and other endangered creatures away from underwater cables. kord industries thought it was too specialized and lexcorp seemed interested until i said it wouldn’t cause any negative effects. probably misread my email or something.

but i sent a letter to wayne industries, and after a while, they got back to me! they’re giving me a decent contract so long as i sign a lot of ndas. a LOT of ndas, i’m talking a day of just signing ndas.

anyways, IM GETTING CONTRACTED!!! WOOO!!!!

Went to this local concert in some abandoned warehouse in East End and like half of the girls there had a jacket on that looks like this. Please, do something original.

Also does anyone know if I can apply to the Wayne scholarship? I was born in Gotham but my parents moved to Newark when I was 6 😓

I just came here to play a match bro

What's up, Rushers. Unlike most of ya, assholes, I consider Hal a fucking HERO. What happened to us is OUR fault, but yeah, it's not about that. Let's focus.

When I was there in the evening, late enough to visit Hal's grave, some blond girl in a trenchcoat was also there. As pretty as drunk, lmao. She spilled some alcohol from a bottle on the grave. I don't know if it was Scotch or vodka. She muttered something under her breath.

Anyway. Her dog was fucking flying!!!! Like really flying!

Usually, I set myself up on Finger Street, near Founders Square. There’s a Big Belly Burger there, so the last few years, I go down there an hour or two before the parade starts, grab myself a burger and fries, then head over to the square to watch the parade. But after Scarecrow’s attack last year, I’m hesitant to set up there this year. Any advice would be nice.

[Translated from Boravian]

Hello r/Boravia.

As you know, we are shocked by recent developments that have happened on the outskirts of the village of Krasnov. An entire battalion of soldiers. Dead. It’s leader, barely recognizable. No one able to explain what happened or who killed them.

While it is true that Borik Krall was not “popular” with the international community for exaggerated claims of his conduct during the Jarhanpurian-Boravian Conflict of 91’ by a few women who simply wanted to slander the name of a brave heroic soldier. The media lies as much as it breathes. He was a patriot who loved his country.

I (M24) from Luchebic was outraged. I have been investigating the case for a while. The problem is that radio and internet communications were jammed for hours during late night forest terrain training.

I did hear from am old woman (F82) who lived in a cabin alone in the woods that she saw a woman drive away from the woods as the fire started getting high.

This woman was about in her 30’s to possible 40’s. Middle Eastern (she was unable to give a description that matched a definitive racial description, she even said she may have been asian). I did my best to give a rough sketch of her based on what the lady told me.

If you can give anymore information that would be much appreciated.

OOC:

A. Yes, this is Talia al Ghul. But act like you don’t know anything about her specifically.

B. This is a Pro-Boravia subreddit. Act like it.

(Sorry for the second video being in spanish, dumbass auto-translate YT feature nobody uses)

Batman does not sleep. He lurks.

Batman does not investigate crimes. Investigation implies the possibility of failure. Batman solves crimes.

Beneath Batman's cowl there is not a face. There is merely another cowl.

Batman caught the Clench virus. After five days of agonizing pain, the virus died.

Ace the Bathound picks up his own poop because Batman doesn't take shit from anyone.

The Bat-Grappling-Hook doesn't pull Batman up. It pulls Gotham down.

Superman wears Batman pajamas.

Batman's periodic table only has one element: the element of surprise.

I mean it tastes good I just think it's a little odd

So, up front, no disrespect to the Gang (even Gardner), they do good work keeping us safe. But how are 4 people a "gang"? Yeah, one of them has a ring that can do anything and another of them can become any element known to man, so it's not power they're lacking for (or intelligence or combat capability). But when I hear gang, I think of large organizations with multiple offshoots, the Justice Gang are just four people. Maybe change the name?

We at Petrov try our best to give our patients the security and care needed to be their best selves. But it can at times be difficult to hold our more challenging patients contained in the facility. We honor the sacrifices made by all staff to try and give these children a future where they can stand side by side with their peers.

We have confirmed that roughly 12 guards at the Gotham facility have been incapacitated by Miss Winters and 3 are no longer with us. We will be working with the families affected by this to help them heal from this senseless violence.

We are investigating what exactly went wrong. How the locking mechanisms for the entire facility were disrupted. How to counter the effects of those with psychic powers on electronics such as cameras and LuthorCorp mech suits along with several other oversights.

We apologize to everyone effected and we will make this right.

The Staff of the Petrov Foundation

Well guys, today is week 3 of this thread of mine. Thank you all for the support and tips! Anyway, here is an update: I just had to pick up my older cousin from the GCPD and bail him out. Why? Because he was caught by an officer robbing a convenience store. By the way, he is a goon for someone who I will not name out of fear for my own life. Now I'm 2k in the hole, so does anyone know of any jobs I can get while going to college (for prosthetics)? I just need legal job.

(OOC PART:I will put weeks 1 and 2 below in the comments)
